The last season was not my thing at all, I was soooooo over it by the end. That being said, I will always watch a new season of this show
I don't think that the issue was with, it that it was bad, rather how good it could have been but never was.
Speaking of Noah Hawley, his new book "Anthem" is phenomenal. It takes dystopian fiction into quite depressing waters but the issues he raises are quite pertinent to today's condition. Quite scary and enlightening how quickly things can go off the rails for us a society.
Eh, the problems with 4 are still there regardless of how good the first three seasons were. The only great thing about 4 was the cast and they almost entirely fumbled that by hardly giving any of the characters or their plots room to breathe. That said, definitely still in for a season 5 — don’t have as much faith in being amazed by it as I might’ve before, but I’ll always be curious
This sounds great. Did you read Before the Fall? If so I'm just curious of your opinion in how it compares in terms of quality. I loved Before the Fall.
I read "Before the Fall" and thought it was fine, if not a bit disjointed with all of the flashbacks. I think his newest one is a perfect blend of Don DeLillo and Kurt Vonnegut. If you like either of those writers, I can't imagine you not enjoying this one.
“Per FX, the new season is set in 2019 and asks the questions when is a kidnapping not a kidnapping, and what if your wife isn’t yours?”
Yeah i enjoyed him in the following things: -Mad Men -30 Rock -Kimmy Schmidt -Curb everything else he is real whatever in. I never watched his episode of black mirror, is it good?
