After watching I’m Thinking Of Ending Things last night, I am beyond excited to get to season 3 in my rewatch for Thewlis
and Jessie Buckley is in Season 4! The only person in that movie whose not in this show is Toni Collette and she would be perfect in Fargo too
goddamn yes. I totally forgot Olyphant is in this too until the other day. this might be the best cast in Fargo yet
right?? season is stacked with talent can't wait to see Amber Midthunder (the best part of Legion) in this too
Just finished my season 1 rewatch. First time seeing it since 2014. I remember feeling like it ended a little unceremoniously before, but now it all felt very fitting to me — though I coulda gone for Gus giving Malvo a minute or so to monologue before shooting him haha. Also IIRC, whether or not Gus should’ve been arrested for murder was a point of contention in the AP.net thread, which I remain on the firm ‘no’ side. Wrench learning about Numbers dying still hurt bad. Watching Lester send Linda into the insurance firm still hurt bad. Watching Malvo go about his ways like the malignant force of nature that he is still ruled. And I think I kinda let soften on me over the years just how insane this cast was. So good. Only nitpicks this time around — really not okay with the sequence of Lester posing as a separate patient, escaping the hospital, stealing a car, going to his house, planning a perfect frame job, driving to his brother’s house, and then sneaking back to his hospital bed safe and sound before any single employee could figure out that he wasn’t there. Got no problem suspending disbelief when necessary, but damn what a stretch for a pretty integral moment in the story. Also don’t get how Linda was perceptive enough to lie to Molly about Lester’s Vegas alibi and then not ask Lester any follow up questions about wtf was going on haha Firing up season 2 in a couple days, most excited to rewatch that one
Lou’s stressed out knot tying in season 2 is a nice touch and callback to season 1 that I didn’t catch before
Chris Rock commands the moral gray area of Fargo season four first review from AV Club, sounds great didn't know Stefani Robinson worked on this season! I'm even more excited now if that's possible, she's one of the best TV writers working right now
Just finished watching the show for the first time, and I have no idea why the fuck I waited so long, all three seasons are just fantastic. I think I'd go 1>2>3 but there's not a huge gap between them at all, especially 1 and 2. I think my only complaint about the whole show is that the family of detective's last name is "Solverson" lol which is a bit on the nose but it was probably intentional I loved Legion and now love this so I guess I'm a big Noah Hawley fan. Apparently that Natalie Portman astronaut movie was terrible though?
