oh man, there's one prepper stash that was anxiety inducing haha. i forgot what it was called, but it was super dark and cave-like and whew man. anyway that's another compliment i can give to the game, that the prepper stashes are all puzzles and stuff. that's how the radio towers were in 3 & 4, you didn't just climb up, you had to know how to climb up.
i know radio towers are a lambasted gimmick in ubi games but i've always liked them. a nice moment of reprieve from chaos and some cool opportunities for showing the player a different scale of the game world (not a fan of the usual cinematic where it shows off certain areas of the map tho, prefer to keep it naturalistic).
Damn, forgot Far Cry 3 was coming out so soon. Had a lot of fun with Far Cry 5, excited to try out the DLC
oh my god i never thought to do this, and the bow is my favorite weapon now i want to do this' edit: you need allll the explosive ammo
do you guys play with hired guns? i hate that you can only have three on your roster - i have a competition going to see who's got the best perks and right now i'm settled on a woman who revives herself/revives me to full health, a woman who lets me carry more ammo/tags enemies, and a woman who tags enemies/finds extra loot...but i dn't want to get rid of any of them to see if any other soldiers have better perks lolol
this is my second play through. this time it's less about killing cult members (stealthily) and more about what awesome ways i can benefit my character lol edit: also, cheeseburger is the best of the three animal companions, just because it's hilarious when the cult members see the giant bear coming at them
I'm on my final area right now which is Jacob's and I have to say John's area was probably the worst in terms of fun while Faith had the best prepper stashes.
i had no idea that hours of darkness DLC was going to be set in vietnam, cooooool been wanting some type of game like that since that crappy ass conflict vietnam on og xbox
I choose the resist option and when i first saw the end scene I was like ehh so does that mean Seed will be back for 6 and it just felt like a sudden end. I was also confused by how he managed to have all my allies under bliss. But then I talked to a co-worker and he kinda explained all the little details I missed about their secret plans and all the hidden stuff in the world and it kinda made sense so i'll just stick with it being an ok ending and me just being bitter because I wanted to take down Seed. [SPOILER/]
anyone here play on an xbone? ever since the last update i can go about a half hour or so before the game lags so bad i have to restart the xbone entirely
