Was just offered this trade: my Olave/Rondale Moore for Mahomes/Hines.

Rest of my roster worth mentioning (it’s a 3 WR league):

WR: AJB, Lockett, Thielen
RB: Henry, Dalvin Cook, Etienne
TE: Everett

 

Feels like Hines has 0 value for you, as there is, what, maybe one bye week you play him? You literally cant play him over Henry/Cook/ETN as your 2RBs and Flex otherwise. It'd be a good trade for you otherwise, but in a WR heavy league, you are giving up 2 upside WRs (and all your injury depth) for a RB you cant play.

I'd only do it if the plan was then to flip Everett + Hines for a TE upgrade

 

Yep exactly. To me, Hines is a complete throw in and has no impact on it. He’s just kinda there.

It’s all about Mahomes. I’ve been down bad with QB this whole season. I just have to decide if I want to take a hit at WR for a huge QB upgrade. And I can’t decide haha

I think I’m rolling Fields in those cases. He’s been awesome the last few weeks and that includes against Dallas.

I wish I grabbed Fields when I had the chance so I could start him over Brady.

 

yeah I have Fields in for right now. Plus, the Dolphins tend to historically struggle defending mobile QBs

I'm hoping for my sake Fields is dogshit this week cause my opponent snagged him and is starting him so sorry not sorry!!

 

To sort of add to this, I was talking to another owner who would trade me Lamb/Godwin or Lamb/Gabe Davis for one of my RB's.

I could potentially, if I do both, end up with a squad that looks like this:

QB: Mahomes
WR: AJB, Lamb, Godwin, Lockett, Thielen
RB: Henry, Etienne, Hines
TE: Everett

Can't decide if its worth it or not. Only having 2 startable RB's at that position scares me, but I get a huge QB upgrade and decent WR upgrade too.

My question is who do I flex:

Gibson
Benjamin
James Robinson
Deon Jackson
Palmer

As things stand, I'm leaning on Gibson, but if Taylor is for sure out, will probably go Jackson OR if Connor is out again, maybe Benjamin. Intrigued by Palmer too.

 

I think you have some decent options. Gibson (if McKissic is out) Jackson (if JT is out), and Palmer. I might lean Gibson.

 

I dont even know if Swift is gonna play...and honestly I might prefer some of your other RBs over him at this stage (wild to say)

if JT is out, you absolutely have to play Deon Jackson

 

Swift practiced today, but yeah, he's a dart throw right now. I almost wish they hold him out just so I can start a better option. But if Swift is playing, I don't think I have it in me to bench him, haha.

 

Yeah I am kinda with this. With no Swift I think Gibson/Jackson are good plays.

EDIT: didn't realize Swift practiced today. Ugh. Would be better if he just sat lol

 

Playing the Taylor owner this week so I just snatched Jackson lol

 

Now I don't feel bad for dropping him in both leagues yesterday.
