Did my 12 team half ppr draft last night, it’s a keeper league so you also need to consider 12 good players were off the board (I had Swift). I also shot myself in the foot by trading my 5th round pick this year, which would have helped make my WR core better. I didn’t pick from beginning 4th until end of 6th and that KILLED me. I kinda am pissed about it because with 1 more WR2 (like a Gabe Davis/Metcalf) I would be much happier.

I’m not in love but it’s the waiver wire I usually excel anyways.

    QB: Trey Lance
RB: Dalvin Cook, Swift, Etienne, Mattison, Rachaad White
WR: Tee Higgins, Godwin, Olave, Toney, Doubs, MVS
    TE: Albert O
    K: Gay
    Cowboys D

I guess I gotta keep him with a 9th rounder huh?

definitely not loving the WRs or TE overall, but if Olave or Doubs hits it obviously gets much better

    nice trio of RBs though

Just the last couple nights I was considering keeping Edmonds for $17 instead of Singletary for $2 because all the news out of bills camp seemed to basically not really mention him, talk about moss still being involved, etc….but yeah he had a nice showing today.

Nope not at all loving the WR’s haha, it’s just the way the draft rolled with keepers and having an early pick. By the time the end of the 2nd round rolled around I felt I was in a WR dead zone. And not having that 5th REALLY didn’t allow me to get a good TE or WR2.

I legit didn’t make a pick from early 3rd until end of 6th (kept swift in 4th). In that time all good TE’s, QB’s and 17 WR’s went which really devastated me.

Normally in the 6th you’d think St Brown, Elijah Moore, Gabe Davis, Hollywood, etc all there …. Nope. Rough stuff haha

Anyone ever done two ESPN drafts at once? Two leagues scheduled same night for me and I’m hoping there aren’t any weird glitches

alright gang, gimme some advice here - have a draft tomorrow, and the way we have the order set is the commissioner pulled names and its the order everyone gets to select their position in, so the first pick get to pick where they want to draft 1-12, and so on.

I got the 7th draw. snake draft. I am considering opting to take 12th position because I feel like having my first two picks be at 12th and 13th is better than 7th and 18th? I think I could have more value with my first two picks if I moved back a little. Thoughts?

In drafts this year I think getting a later pick is better. My league is slightly skewed with keepers, but overall I think you can land a top WR & RB on that swing.

In that swing you could prob end up with a Swift/Kamara/Barkley/Jones caliber RB and a Diggs/Adams/Lamb caliber WR. And god forbid a Chase/Jefferson/Kupp fall.

my draft has similar rules and, while less options were available to me when it got to my pick, after looking at who was gonna be available when….I chose pick 6, that was the last possible pick I was gonna take before preferring to be in the 10-12 range. That 7-8-9 slot I really kinda hate tbh. Maybe wouldn’t even like 10

I would want to end up with one of Taylor, CMC, Ekeler, Cook, Jefferson, or Kupp...so I think 6th would be the last pick I would take

I hate picking 1st/12th just because of the wait between picks, but thats just a personal preference

Bleh did my first draft last night and not super happy with my team. Then again, last year, I came out of that draft really happy with my team and missed the playoffs soooo lol

    The rivalry is back on

If you could keep 3 of the following (8 keeper league), which would you do (0.5 PPR, 10 team)?

    Bateman, E.Moore, CEH, Dak, Juju

lol that’s where I am. I have changed my mind on the third multiple times.

I like Juju the most but am already keeping 5 WR

Dak is close enough to the QB10 line that I should be able to get him or someone similar in the redraft without using my first on it

which leaves me at CEH and he’s so bleh

Hahaha believe me I wasn't happy about it but since it's total points it doesn't matter

I will say that 13 teams vs 12 is a big difference once you get to the mid to late rounds

Ah, thats what I was trying to figure out. I was just imagining a team having a bye each week and then also trying to figure out how player bye weeks interact with that, etc

This is a cool ass concept.
