I don’t think it’s horrible value. Singletary isn’t a “fun” pick and obviously James Cook will have a some sort of role, but I don’t hate getting the starting RB (for now) in a top 2 offense in the 9th round who could project to be literally like your RB4

First 3 rounds of my dynasty start up are done and I’m with Chase, Herbert, Barkley.

    I’m liking the beginnings.

I have my family draft coming up in a couple weeks and the loser from last season has to wear a dress. Im thinking of doing the draft at a fancy steakhouse.

I offered my 6th (pick 69 overall) for DJ Moore (ADP right now is 36)

got countered my 5.04 and 6.09 for DJ Moore and 6.01

still seems like a good deal for me, no?

Currently in a dynasty startup (includes this year’s rookie class too). This is where we are halfway in:

    QB: Justin Herbert, Trey Lance
WR: Chase, Amon Ra St Brown, Elijah Moore, Skyy Moore, Kadarius Toney
RB: Saquon, Dobbins, Walker, Pollard, Zamir White, Gainwell, Khalil Herbert
    TE: Kittle

im inheriting my buddy who had a kid's team for a fantasy league, please help me choose my keeper. parentheses for the round of pick i'll lose. im leaning Brown but lemme know if that's dumb:
    Kamara (1)
    AJ Brown (3)
    DJ Moore (4)
    Thielen (5)
    Waller (5)
    MGIII (8)
    Rodgers (9)
    Gallup (13)
    Devonta Freeman (last round)
    Tyler Conklin (last round)
    Hunter Renfrow (last round)

    The rivalry is back on

Renfrow for basically free is your best value IMO because he’s an easy top 100 guy, but I wouldn’t fault you for taking Brown at maybe a round discount, depending on league size, if you’re very excited about him

to me, keepers are all about value. None of those guys are really extremely good value

How many teams? Is it PPR?

if its even half point PPR, I would probably go Renfrow for the value

I agree with this; like, Brown is at an ADP of early 3rd round, so keeping him there is break even...and might even be a negative if you missed out on some RBs early and could have gotten a back end RB1 there.

Swap this, do the draft at like an Applebees, but make him go like Prom-level dress

If you were gonna do it for 6.09, then moving up in the 6th and giving up your 5th seems about a wash.

Got #1 pick in my league's draft lottery. Starting off the year with JT and Herbert (13th round keeper).

Question is the end of the 2nd do I go with Allen to pair with him even over the likes of Tyreek, Evans or AJB or would they be too good to pass up before Keenan?

Also Mandrews was my savior from last season in the 4th round, but his ADP is 2 rounds higher now. Wait to take someone like Schultz a few rds later or does anyone here have legit sleeper TEs?

Like everyone has said, Renfrow is the best “value” because he is a free WR3 at minimum.

Obviously with Adams now in the picture his production is a question mark, but McDaniels did make Edelman fantasy worthy for years. The slot WR in his offense has a major role.

AJB is the best player and you’re getting him pretty much where he will go. So if you’re more excited about having AJB (who you should be because he’s awesome and reports seem like Hurts is loving him) then go there.

I feel so meh about Keenan Allen. I think I’d rather AJB or Tyreek.

Goedert will be a decent TE value IMO who’s going later than he should. He’s the last of the TE tier who will be pretty decent on a weekly basis.

After that, it’s a crapshoot. I see sleeper love for guys like Kmet, Irv Smith, Higbee, Everett, Henry, etc but honestly this group is all TD dependent and are more often gonna give you 3 or less points.

Also do you agree that taking another RB at the turn is crucial? Feel WR is very deep and if I'm waiting a little on TE then RB seems like the choice at end of 2nd/start of 3rd since it pretty much falls off hard soon after that.

    .5PPR 12 team

If it were me I would grab the best WR & RB available for your 2nd and 3rd picks. I don’t think you want to be in a position where Antonio Gibson or Josh Jacobs are your RB2 lol

I do think there’s decent value later at RB with Stevenson, Walker/Penny, Pierce, AJ Dillon in 5th+ rounds.

Typically Javonte, Conner, DMont, Hall, Etienne, Elijah, and Dobbins avail

Javonte is the obvious from that group, but I honestly am really excited about Etienne haha

My draft is Friday! I’m pumped and like 98% sure I’m keeping Swift, but with all the preseason hype building is there anyone here in the round you’d rather keep over Swift?

    Ekeler (2nd round)
    Josh Allen (3rd round)
    Swift (4th round)
    Gabriel Davis (15th round)
    Trey Lance (16th round)

Swift's a way better use of the pick than the only other option I'd go with, which is Lance (since if he plays close to 17 games, he's almost surely ending up as a top 12 QB in fantasy). Getting an 11th round guy with a 16th round pick isnt exactly the coup getting a borderline R1 guy in R4 is

I actually think it increases Renfrow's value overall. No, he's surely not getting 130 targets again, but, he'll get 90-100 and never with a defense trying to defend him specifically. Dude did 103/1038/9 with the shell of Waller and absolute trash otherwise...feels like there's even like Edelman level potential value with Adams there drawing doubles every play

Yeah exactly! I think his target share will obviously go down slightly, but it’s not like he’s going to be a second thought. He’ll be more open and is going to serve the Edelman role in that offense. I’m excited his ADP is pretty low, seems like a solid steal

    Great Googly Moogly Prestigious

im so bummed. One of my long time fantasy leagues disbanded because SOMEONE had a kid and SOMEONE "DOESNT HAVE TIME TO RUN A LEAGUE ANYMORE". 10 years running and we finally got the rules perfect. A deep league. Creative league. Competitive. Etc etc etc. UGHHHHHHHH

Luckily my 20 year fantasy league is going strong but still bummed. I loved having 2 long time leagues at once. The public pro league on yahoo are fine but i hate the generic basic rules.

    Venting.
