now I’m 6-5, which in the grand scheme of things isn’t bad for starting 0-3, but shit still sucks lol

 

First time ever doing two week playoff matchups, we decided to try it out as an experiment for this year, so my regular season just ended. 10 team league, we had 3 teams end at 8-3, 3 teams at 5-6, and 4 at 4-7. Pretty crazy how it shook out because just a couple weeks back we had two teams at 7-1, one at 1-7 and a couple at 2-6.

Anyways...this one single smooth brain move immediately after the Henry Ruggs debacle cost me the #1 seed. So that sucks.

standard does not look like a good time!

 

Its far enough into the season that the desperation/frustration sets in. Like how I spent a LOT of FAAB money on Adrian Peterson because surely he'd return to his old form at 36...RBs do that all the time! And now I'll probably drop him this week or next to get the Jets backup RB or some shit

 

I finally got a win this week so I avoided going winless lol. My team is god awful because of injuries and also thinking taking Mike Davis and Corey Davis was a good idea. I was honestly interested to see if I could go without winning a matchup though lmao.

 

Think this is going to be my last year in my main league I've been in for several years, the commish refuses to go to PPR (or even .5) and not a single person ever responds to trades.

There's a Chorus league yeah? Sign me up pls

 

Leagues still do standard? Even the yahoo public league switched to half point

I'm honestly not a fan of PPR (even though one of my leagues is PPR). I get the idea is to reward the back or the receiver for the target/catch, but sometimes you'll see a guy get like, 7 catches for 55 yards and all of a sudden that's a monster game, when in reality, it's not. Or getting a point for a catch on a screen pass and tackled right away.

I don't like it.

 

I came around to half PPR. Full PPR is a little much for me.

 

12 points just isn't a monster game in PPR, it's just slightly above average.

 

You gotta remember that everyone gets the extra points

So while 7 catches 55 yards for 12.5 points might seem like a lot, everyone in the league is getting that benefit so it evens out

 

I am a PPR Purist.

Yeah even half a point ppr is better than just standard scoring, it makes the options of who's actually playable sooooooo limited. If you're in a 8 team league I'm sure it's fine but anything more than that it gets to be bare bones once bye weeks start to hit

 

Yeah it’s a good matchup, but it’s also 2021 David Johnson. I would absolutely not start him over Henderson

Because in non PPR you reward the te who gets 2 tds on 2 catches for 2 yards. Over the receiver who got 10 catches for 90 yards.

The 10 for 90 guy was a much bigger part of the teams offense for the day. The 2 goal line tds was more luck.

Full ppr is a bit much though

 

I don't know if Tony Jones is viable, assuming Ingram is out? Probably going Javonte against that LAC run D

 

Always thought standard and full PPR were two different sides of the same coin. Half PPR is juuuuust right imo

de facto WR1 Gallup (I guess? I thought for sure Lamb would be out with a concussion but he’s questionable)

in my flex?

I’m scared to hold Gallup out of my lineup today in case Hunt doesn’t end up playing or has super limited play time or something Sunday because the wire is p bare.
