I can't believe I pulled this off. Was forced to pick up Cook after Gronk went down and he did not disappoint. Won by 2.8.

Now 4-0 and literally every single week has gone down to the final drive of the Monday Night game.

 

So uh.. Damien Williams a speculative add now? Reports say Montgomery is gonna be out 3-5 weeks

 

one look at that schedule and nope!!

 

I mean, you should absolutely 100% add Damien Williams if you can....

 

Probably wouldn't trust him but yeah in any relatively non shallow league you should be adding Damien Williams.

You add him for Week 5 alone; Ekeler just shredded that team...and honestly, even GB isnt that great a run D. The TB game sucks though.

 

The nice thing about Williams is he's a 3-down back and very likely to be involved in the pass game as well.

That said, I'm not placing a waiver claim on him, but if no one else does (which is unlikely) I'll snatch him up tomorrow morning.

 

Yeah I've got a claim lined up for Williams as a Montgomery owner. Do I love it? No, not at all. But that doesn't mean I'm not doing it. Because the Ravens are dumb and running the corpses, I have claims set to drop Ty'Son Williams for: Damien Williams, Samaje Perine, Latavius Murray, in that order.

 

I am placing a claim on him just to be a dick to the guy who has Montgomery, he talks the most shit for a dude that’s 2-2 I’ve met lol

but I doubt I’ll actually use him as I basically have mixon/swift in my flexes

 

If you're not going to use him, I'd definitely not waste a claim on him.

 

With Gronk out a few more weeks, I should pick up Knox and drop Cook, right? I thank Cook for his service last night, but Knox seems much more consistent and I doubt we see too many more Chargers games where Allen/Williams were barely involved in the passing game.

I guess its a fine enough trade on its own ( would never trade Kamara for a WR like Metcalf), but keep in mind this dude lost JK Dobbins to start the year and the only other RBs on his roster are Malcolm Brown, Leveon Bell, and Philip Lindsay lmao

 

would ya'll trade Cordarrelle for Brandin Cooks? 0.5 ppr

Also have J. Taylor, Mixon, Jacobs, and Singletary. WRs are Jefferson, Claypool, Hollywood and Waddle

 

Trying to figure out a trade to get Lamar back on my team. I've had him since he was a rookie, and I'm a Ravens guy. Guy who has him is kind of falling apart and is willing to listen to offers after previously boxing me out.

I get:
Lamar Jackson
Ezekiel Elliott
Rob Gronkowski

He gets:
Justin Herbert
Aaron Jones
Robby Anderson

Trying to decide if I should attempt this, or package something different.

 

1. should I trade Dalvin Cook for DHop? .5ppr, need WR, only other offer for DCook was DJMoore and DMonty (I have Damien Williams)

 

I might rather the DJ Moore/Montgomery trade (I know Monty is injured now but still)

 

Under the presumption you want Lamar over Herbert (which Id personally be a little torn on...but is understandable), that trade feels like a win all around for you.

Gronk >>>>>> Robby Anderson as just a straight up thing, but doubly so when you consider TE vs WR. Giving up a WR you cant reasonably start most weeks because Sam Darnold is dogshit at deep balls (and we have a whole prior season as proof as well) for a top 5 TE when healthy, yeah, that's a win. Especially if your league has an IR spot.

Aaron Jones and Elliott is a wash, Id probably rather have Jones because of Elliott's injury history and Pollard floating around, but if they both play the same # of games, their fantasy points will be +/-10pts of each other.

 

I think Id rather have Cordarelle than Cooks; if it was full-PPR I'd go the other way (simply because Cooks is a 10+ target lock so many weeks)....but Cordarelle is getting goal-line looks and solid volume.

Im really torn if he's a sell-high guy right now (since he has no long-term history of producing like an Ekeler style RB2)...or if he's the perfect guy to just leave as a flex every week.

 

I hate FF lmao I feel like I have so many good options to play but when it comes to game time everyone's stinking up the place

 

People went nuts on the waiver wire this week in my league. I didn't try to get any action, but was hoping Knox and/or NE D (who I dropped last week) would make it out alive and both were taken.

Good news is I'm now 2nd on the Waiver list.

I picked up Pitt D this week (Dallas and Minnesota are still out there) and I guess I'll just roll with Cook for another week at TE.

Question for my flex: Chase, Hunt of Sanders

I've started Sanders every week this year and can't stomach it any longer. Have yet to start Chase or Hunt once. I was leaning on starting Hunt, but may switch and go with Chase.

 

Jamarr Chase is a must start IMO
