so playoffs started in this league and look what my squad did....I've been playing fantasy for probably close to 20 years and I can't remember ever having a week this good...this isn't even full PPR by the way, its only half lol



also had Landry, Akers, and Gabriel Davis on my bench! lol

Can't wait for this squad to put up 70 in a loss next week though!

I just lost on that Dobbins run. If they just gave it to Edwards I would have won and possibly avoided Dalvin cook with the seeding. I know I’m greedy because I already locked up first place, but I don’t like losing lol

 

I needed Lamb + Zeuerlein to get 13pts so that the 2nd place team lost and I got the Week 14 bye. Because Zeuerlein cant kick (and because of that missed DPI at the end of the 1st), I now have to play the #6 team that has Kyler v NYG and Davante v DET.

 

Bleh. Missing the playoffs in my main league by about 4 total points scored. 6 players on the bench this week due to covid or byes or PEDs. Bad decision by me to cut couteee pre game. That Aj Brown goal line fumble that cost Tannehill the touchdown. So many bad things. fuuuck.

This makes me sooooooo sad. His schedule for week 15 & 16 was so good. Now I’m nervous as hell to start him either of those weeks.

 

This just gave me anxiety.

 

That Antonio Gibson news is crushing. I've been fucking dealing with injuries/COVID reserve literally all season long. This was the week where I was finally going to get to go back to my CMC/Aaron Jones/Gibson trio in a must-win game to get into the playoffs this week. Our regular season is 14 weeks and OF COURSE I'm playing the guy with Tyreek Hill, D. Adams and DK Metcalfe....like wtf?

I'm still so unjustifiably mad at the guy in my league who didn't start Watson on Thanksgiving. It changed the entire course of the playoff landscape because he lost by 10 (had he started Watson he would have won by 15) and the guy who won that match beat me this week. Had he lost the match last week and still beat me this week, I'd still be ahead of him and in the playoffs due to second most points in the league.

 

Who did he start instead of Watson?

Corey Davis is somehow still on the wire. Also someone dropped D'Andre Swift last week, but isn't he dealing with a concussion? Others on the wire...Mike Williams, Marquise Brown, Watkins, Kirk, Pittman Jr.

 

He had Burrow plugged into his starting QB...who had broken his leg the week before.

The dude is just checked out of our league. He's 4-9 and in last place. I haven't talked to this guy in real life in probably six years but I messaged him this Sunday at noon because he was playing another guy in our league with the same record as me again and he again didn't have a line-up set and when he did set up his line-up, he started McKinnon over Dobbins. Like, WYD?

I asked the commissioner (who's also my best friend) to kick him out of the league and he said he's going to. On top of this shit, he apparently didn't pay last year (my friend paid for him) and hasn't paid this year thus far.

This league is filled with 8 to 9 of my closest/best friends and we've had it since 2009. This guy was a fill-in for a friend who dropped out a few years ago. Nobody is close with him at all. In fact, if I was close to him, I'd be giving him a hell of a lot harder time.

 

Eh, my league doesn't allow illegal lineups for that exact reason. That's shitty.

 

I mean, it's certainly looked down upon in our league too, but how do you stop/enforce it? Other than getting rid of the person after the season.

 

Man that Gibson injury sucks. I was able to pick up Akers last week. but I was actually pretty content on having Jones/Gibson in my RB1/RB2 slot with zeke in my flex. Hopefully I can pick up coutee on waivers tonight.

 

We will switch it out for the lowest possible scorer on their roster. So someone can't play Burrow and have Watson on the bench.
