  1. Need miles sanders, diontae, and Justin tucker to not combine for more than 52.08 the next 2 nights and I win and am pretty much a lock for the playoffs.

I actually do not like this option. If this year in fantasy has taught us anything, it is you need to be prepared for anything at anytime and adjust your line-ups accordingly. I know in both my leagues, all teams pretty much took out any Balt/Pitt players knowing that there is a chance the game could be cancelled (and tbh it should be). It sucks, but it is what it is.

I'm all for commissioners adding in the IR for COVID players (although neither of my leagues did this) but the alternate option doesn't seem like a reasonable solution to me. The better thing is for managers to just manage as if there is a strong possibility the game is postponed. Even if the game isn't called, what happens if Big Ben or any other significant player tests positive for COVID between Sunday at 1 p.m. and Tuesday at 5 p.m.? Do they still get the alternate options even though the game may still carry on?

    It's a slippery slope, imo.

yeah, that's how it is set up in my league. You have the option to name your "alternate" player for every position if you chose to. Most people have just typed in who their alternate was for games that are in jeopardy. Like Tuesday's game for instance. It hasn't added any stress and literally has not changed the outcome of one game so far because we haven't had to implement it yet. It was actually the one rule I added at the beginning of the year without a vote and everyone has thanked me afterwards for it because it just relieves some of the stress associated with COVID.

I disagree with what you're saying, but to each their own. Injuries have always been a part of fantasy football, COVID has not and most likely will not be a part of fantasy football forever. It's worked out well so far in the league I'm the commissioner in and it's what all the experts I listen to have said is one of the best ways to handle the pandemic. Pretty much their thought process is life is already pretty terrible and stressful right now let's put a caveat on the rules this year to at least make fantasy semi normal and less stressful. Which I completely agree with this mantra.

Again, I'm probably gonna win, but I don't like how stressed out I feel right now because I had to literally drop a good backup from my bench (Tee Higgins, because he didn't even add at least 1 IR spot) to go pick up a QB that I really had no interest in acquiring. Big Ben has been fine and was just going to ride him through the rest of the year.

It definitely sucks, and there has been no great way to deal with the pandemic in FF this year, but to be honest with you, in a weird way, it's made it so much more interesting. And I've been at the shit end of a lot of my starters being added to the COVID reserve lists additions and because of that, I've had to drop good bench players just to start a prayer in both of my leagues multiple times (because again, neither league I'm in implemented the IR for COVID additions).

The alternate option just seems like a comfortable luxury that doesn't really require any skill/footwork in being a manager. In my opinion, it's just irresponsible to go forward starting anyone from Balt/Pitt this week and fantasy managers shouldn't be rewarded with being able to use an alternate player's stats if the game is cancelled.

So long as everyone agrees in your league it's a good option, then more power to you all, but I just don't like the idea. I think you need to roll with the hands you're dealt in all situations in fantasy. In this case, the hand your dealt is 'hey, this game may not happen, manage accordingly.'

I need Drew Brees back more than anything for the sake of Kamara.

If Brees comes back Week 15 I could actually be fine. I’ll take the hit next week then hopefully have a bye for 14. But ugh, I need Kamara for 15 and HOPEFULLY week 16.

I have Benny Snell lined up in my flex right now but I'm leaning toward picking up Greg Ward instead now just to be safe

    god fucking damn it.

pretty much crushes my chances of doing anything if I make the playoffs now. But I still need to win next week most likely to get in and all these week 13 byes already have me in a bad spot. Losing Fuller just makes it way worse.

Yeah, my team is gonna survive because I get Ekeler and Mostert back (and we have 2 flexes instead of a TE), but man is my WR corps falling apart.

Fuller, Jefferson, Parker, Kirk, Higgins...dropped Fulgham and a few others as they dropped off...Im basically Tua being healthy away from not having two startable WRs

Yep I still have Hopkins, Ridley, & Jefferson so I can survive WR wise, but I was using Jefferson in my flex. Now I’ll probably have to play Ronald Jones in my flex until Mixon comes back ... if he even comes back.

Yep this week will be tough, I could play Jeudy in my flex (meh) or try picking up a Booker/Akers as a very undesirable flex play. I think Jacobs will play and I don’t want any part of that Rams backfield.

    This Fuller news really sucks.

  19. I picked up Akers 2 weeks ago in case he ever decided to take over that backfield, looks like he’s slowly starting to

Depressing memory: I dropped Cooks back in like week 3 or 4, whichever week it was he decided to blow up.

  22. lookin like seeds 1-4 are all gonna lose this week so I’ll still be in first thankfully

Is Fulgham droppable at this point? A combined two catches for 16 yards in last 3 games.

Deebo and Akers are on the wire in my league. Both more useful it seems.

I would want to own exactly 0 Eagles players for the rest of the season. They're going to be historically bad to close this season
