Like, that trade should be Zeke + Woods for a Conner/Gurley type...or perhaps a Carson/Mixon (vague injury concerns) type player. If he really likes Singletary, then sure, throw him in there for Fournette or Evans on the off chance either produces. Otherwise you sell really low on your 1st round pick.
We'll see how it pans out but here's my logic: The upcoming schedule for Zeke is Pitt (no thanks), a bye, and then some tough matchups against WSH (held him to 45 yards 2 weeks ago), BAL, SF, PHI. Hard to feel good about any of those, even with Dalton coming back. Plus now he's dealing with a 'minor' hamstring issue and Pollard getting work every game. Fournette is in a time share with Jones - yes. But they seem to want to get Fournette more involved. A much friendlier schedule for RBs with CAR, KC, ATL, DET. Plus I feel like with that WR corps, theres going to be room to run down the stretch. Woods has some great matchups, plus a couple bad ones sprinkled in (ARI, NE, TB). McLaurin's upcoming schedule is suuuuuper friendly to WRs til week 16 plus he has a 30% target share. Its truly a roll of the dice, but sometimes you gotta be bold and take a chance.
Then Zeke/Woods -> Fournette/McLaurin is the trade. Dont ALSO give up Singletary Trust me, I get the logic. I went for a dudes Herbert over his Lamar Jackson precisely because of the schedule, and I gave up a stronger WR because of schedule reasons too...but, Zeke still gets 15-20 touches a game and is unquestioned as the goal-line dude. He can dumb luck his way to a TD most weeks and be a serviceable flex.
So uhhh... this guy in my league dropped golladay straight up a few weeks ago when he’s hampered his injury, okay that’s fine, even though we have TWO IR slots because of covid this year. and last week I offered the same guy Gibson/dionte for Miles Sanders (I was 6-1 at the time so I’m basically just trying to assemble my team for the playoffs), he says “I don’t know, I’ll think about it”. Then let’s the trade expire, also that’s fine too. Then this week the dude DROPS Sanders for Philip Lindsey on waivers, lol. the fuck
people are so fucking weird someone traded Darrell Henderson and Jamison Crowder for Davante Adams in my league last week even though I explicitly told him I would have offered more this week, dude dropped Crowder lmao like wtf
I’m surprised people trade in your leagues. I’ve made a few offers this season and all but one expired
we've had 2 total trades in our league and both were within the past 2 weeks no one wants to trade with me because I always do well (Though I never win the title in this league unfortunately) so I have to overpay to get literally anyone but then I have the dipshit that traded Henderson and Crowder for the best WR in the league then cut Crowder a week later, so yeah
Yeah that logic makes no sense at all. My friend and I think people in our leagues don’t like to trade because they’re afraid they’re getting screwed over
I picked up Stafford for Burrow's bye week but if ends up testing positive an he can't go which of these would be best? (I really hope I don't end up in this situation lol)
You'd think the 49ers would run more against a team that gave up 160+ rushing yards to Dalvin Cook last week lol
dude also has Patrick mahomes starting this weekend (2 QB league) and has CMC coming back... The seven game winning streak had to come to an end smh
Happy to have Aaron Jones back, disappointed he didn't get three straight goal-line touches on the one, and Rodgers missed him WIDE OPEN in the endzone on one of the plays, but could have been worse because my back-up plan was Hasty.
