I'm stretched super thin at RB for Week 9. Sanders and Hunt on bye...D Montgomery is my only RB so I picked up Wilkins. Justin Jackson and McKinnon are available too on waivers
Which QB would you feel better about this week: Big Ben against Dallas (worried that the defense/run game dominates and Ben doesn't have to do much) Matt Ryan against Denver Matt Stafford against Minnesota
Thats a fair concern, and him and Matt Ryan are probably in likelihood of final points...but, Id probably still go Ben just because the Dallas D is so bad that he could Russell Wilson them and every TD they score in their 31-10 win is a pass.
It's a miracle my team is 4-4, and third in scoring, considering I've played the majority of the year without CMC and looks like I'll be playing my 4th week w/o Aaron Jones and Lamar has been quite bad. I had Jamaal as a safety net the past few weeks, but he's ruled out. At RB1 I'll be starting either CMC/Mike Davis RB2 will be A. Gibson. Assuming A.Jones is ruled out, should i start Fournette at the flex or should I try and pick-up either Hasty, Edwards or (gulp) Ervin on the wire? Other longshots still on the wire are: Joshual Kelley, Perine, Wilkins, Dallas. I could also flex a WR from the wire (Cooks, Mike Williams, Christian Kirk) as I have Tee Higgins and Fulgham on bye week as well. I'm leaning on just rolling with Fournette.
I'd put a claim in for literally all of Hasty, Edwards, Ervin, Perine, Wilkins, or Kelley I am personally going to start Hasty assuming that its him/McKinnon as the SF RBs because Green Bay is atrocious against the run
is the WFT Defense a good play for the next four weeks? was planning to stick with the Chargers ros but Washington has a nice schedule
Be careful of over-reading the Cincy numbers; their so good for defenses because of one game against BAL...otherwise no fantasy D has 10pts on them. But, its not like LAC is really any good week-to-week, so Id say stream WFT this week, find someone week 10, come back to LAC in week 11 for the NYJ
Out of all the guys I mentioned, I think Hasty is the only one I'd consider playing over Fournette. That said, I don't really trust the SF backfield. I had McKinnon up until last week. I suppose Hasty is a better option than McKinnon, but still I don't think either one is a huge improvement over Fournette. This whole Aaron Jones situation is frustrating because it has sounded like he's wanted to play for the past two weeks and now that the team literally needs him, they still won't suit him up. Also, I don't really have anyone to drop whatsoever. I have Jamaal Williams and Mike Davis as handcuffs but I can't drop either until I know for sure Jones/CMC are healthy. The rest of my bench is too solid to drop.
I suppose I could drop Jamaal Williams, but if Aaron Jones continues to be out past this week, then I just dropped a top 10 play for next week.
I'm going to need a WR with Higgins on bye and Ridley likely out, who should I go after? Mooney (vs. TEN) Hall (vs. MIN) Renfrow (vs. LAC) Meyers (vs. NYJ) Gage (vs. DEN) My other WRs are Adams and AJ Brown. I think Mooney is my best option but just in case I can't get him I'm curious on other options. I have 2nd waiver but I don't want to waste it on any of these guys so I'm just going to take someone who doesn't get claimed.
so I got offered Gurley and Claypool for my D. Hopkins and Latavius Murray I cant make that trade, but I think I am going to counter with Fulgham and R. Jones for Gurley and Brian Hill. He is kind of weak at WR
