I mean, why would you want to use your highest draft pick when instead you can give him zero touches while guys drafted a round later are gonna see 250+ touches in year 1
Got hit with byes this week and trying to decide who to play in my WR3 spot: Do I stick with Jeudy vs chargers? Or do I pick up one of the waiver WR’s: - Higgins - Shepherd - Agholor
I'm having major anxiety about this week's waiver wire. I need so much help due to bye and injuries. And everyone in my league is super active on Wednesday mornings.
I gotta be honest, I sometimes set an alarm for 4am and wake up and check out the waiver wire/pick up anyone that fell through the cracks
I've legit thought about doing this, but I've noticed that Yahoo is always a different time every Wednesday morning. Sometimes the waiver's clear at like 4 a.m. and sometimes it's as late as 6 or 7 a.m. There never seems to be a rhyme or reason for it. My second league, that I don't care about as much, is an 8-team league with no waiver wire at all. Free agents are always available at any time (unless dropped, then they there is a 3-4 day clearing process). Anyways, after SNF this week...I was tossing and turning in my bed at 1:30 a.m. and it dawned on me that I should pick up Chase Edmonds after Drake got hurt, so I did and my wife woke up and was like 'what are you doing on your phone at 1:30 a.m.' and I was just like...'ummm, picking up a fantasy player'
I, as well as multiple other players in my league, set alarms for 4 am to get the first crack at FA’s. In my league we don’t do FAAB so having the top wire spot is a strategy. Which means not using your waiver spot on players you think others won’t pick up is a key. Meaning snagging FA’s before others is huge. I hate to say it but 3 weeks ago I did this for a freakin kicker.
We switched to faab last season and its a blast. I wake up around 3:30 every Wednesday morning to get those first cracks. Sucks when the claims go in like 4:15 though lol.
Need to pick up a QB for Kyler’s bye week Teddy v Falcons Baker v Raiders Carr v Browns which one is best
Being a teacher doesn't have many advantages, but it definitely helps me when it comes to fantasy football. I usually get up around 5 a.m. and am able to just have my pick of whatever is leftover on the waivers. No one in my league ever wastes priority on kickers or defenses which is really where I benefit the most. Considering those are two positions I stream on a week to week basis.
speaking of defense.....I currently have Bills and Niners and I need to drop one. And I don't know which haha
Ahh I’m so glad I was able to get rid of Evans, I hope he remains productive enough for you to trade! But Brady ignores him til he’s five yards from the goal line.
With Mixon and Lindsay likely out and Robinson on bye I’m either playing Perine having to pick up one of these options lol Edwards Hyde/Dallas Harris Gallman hopefully my WRs put up huge games again this week
