It frees up $9M in 2021.

No one was trading anything for a malcontent, overpaid RB.

Joe Douglas didn't sign him. He inherited Bell's awful contract and CJ Mosley's, which is even worse. He already cleaned up the Trumaine Johnson deal last season. The roster is in shambles.

I ultimately get that, but, thats as much on Gase as it is on Bell. If you cant figure out how to use one of the most versatile backs in the league...maybe you dont belong coaching offense. It should be a little telling that Gase was STILL relying on Frank Gore as his RB...and that the primary skill position players from his 2018 team all went on to do pretty damn well on other teams (Tannehill, Parker, Drake).

You've got a QB getting killed, and a perfect answer in a RB that can both pass block, and take 70-80 receptions a season off check downs, and its on the GM/Coach that they decided tossing $15mil into the incinerator was better than finding a way to make it work.

  3. Should I flex Shenault vs the Lions or Higgins vs the Colts this week?

Even though Higgins is getting looks, I'd be a little nervous about Burrow facing Indy's stout defense. Baltimore shut the Bengals down last week and the Colts D is dominate.

Chark may not play this week because of that ankle injury and Shenault could be busy.

His biggest asset to the Jets was pass protection.

He isn’t the same player you watched when he was with the Steelers.

Gase certainly could’ve used him differently, no disputing that...but Bell consistently lost yardage on his own, putting an all-time worst offense in second/third and longs.

They were both part of the problem.

Need to find a replacement for Dak.

Thinking of possibly snagging two of these guys to see how it plays out.

Fitzpatrick (vs Jets and has been on fiiiiire)
    Dalton
Stafford (juicy matchup this week and past bye week)
    Cousins (juicy matchup this week)

    Fitz/Stafford????

Edit: Just realized Big Ben was dropped during week 4. He's looked great too.

Baker Mayfield just had the best half of his career against that Indy D...200 yards and 2 TDs in the first half (second half was a different story...)

Fitz has been great, but he's going to lose his starting job any week now.

I’m picking up both Fitz and Goff. Will be starting Fitz this week for sure against Jets - even going to pick up Miami’s defense. I’m afraid Dalton is gonna lock on to Cooper and Gallup more than Lamb which is also going to hurt my team.

something else that worries me - the possibility of Le’Veon Bell being traded to a team like the chiefs. Please don’t do that to my boy CEH.

I have Kelce and drafted Jonnu late in drafts as insurance, but now I have the #1 and #2 TE and can’t seem to find a trade package for Jonnu. Very frustrating.

Would not shock me if they turn it over to Tua following their bye week.

This is what I'm afraid of. My fear is that it happens mid game.

He's playing phenomenal. Nervous that if he comes out and throws a couple picks, Tua would come in. But who knows.

Yeah I want to roll with Fitz this week too. Was also considering Cousins against ATL.

That's crazy you can't find a trade package for Jonnu. I'd be offering him up today after his game last night. Maybe package him with like an RB2 or WR2 to get an RB1/WR2.

That would put Brian Flores in a terrible spot. If Fitzmagic is performing well and they are competing and even winning games with him, he can't go away from him.

The veterans in that locker room would question that decision. You can't go to Tua unless Fitz is hurt or struggles or you're out of playoff contention.

@xbrokendownx could probably weigh in here

I don't disagree with what you're saying. I'm just pointing out the elephant in the room.

Fitz could lose his job at any moment because the ultimate goal for the Dolphins is to develop Tua. Fitz is just the fill-in guy for now, and he's playing great, but unlike most starting QBs in the league, he's a bad performance, or a loss or two away from Tua getting the starting role.

I don't think that Tua is going to play anytime soon tbh. I think it would take two or three really bad outings in a row from Fitz at this point. Plus, assuming Miami beats the Jets and the Bills lose to KC, Miami is a game out of the division lead.

The guys in the locker room absolutely LOVE Fitz

Remember, Mahomes sat for the entire year until week 17. Rodgers sat for how many years.

I Want to see Tua play but I also don't see any way how you pull Fitz right now.

Yeah, unless fitz completely shit the bed the next few weeks he isn’t handing over the reigns to tua yet.

would you guys trade (my) Mark Ingram for Devante Parker?

my WRs: D. Hopkins, Thielen, J. Landry, J. Jeudy
my RBs: Kamara, R. Jones, C. Akers, L. Murray, Z. Moss

    start 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 flex. 0.5 ppr.

I know I am kind of thin at RB, but to lock in Hopkins/Thielen/Parker as my top 3 WRs would be pretty sweet

For sure. You can hardly start Mark Ingram anymore. Parker is pretty much a weekly start.

ooooh yeah. Unless either gus or dobbins go down with an injury, it seems the ravens are fine with running a three back committee.

  22. Dude in my league drop Hock to keep Tonyan lol. Was able to snag him tonight, hopefully that fixes my TE problem for the rest of the season

I have Burrow as my Dak backup but I’m probably going to avoid playing him against the colts. Should I stream Minshew (vs DET), Cousins (vs ATL), or Dalton (vs ARI)?

As someone who owns Ridley, Gurley, Mattison, and Jefferson .... UGHHHHH

Falcons had 4 positives tests and shut down the facility.
