congrats to all the playoff bound teams - lets get it!

 

Damn it seems this morning Cook is expecting to play next week which stinks cause Mattison was going to be a huge play. Looks like I'll still be playing Fournette, Carson, and Penny this coming week again like I did this week lol.

The fun part is I'm facing the kid who originally drafted then dropped Penny in round 1.

 

missed out on the playoffs (that started this week) by the total points tiebreaker (9 less than the guy I was tied for the last spot with)

this week, I scored the most points in the league

 

Well, I'm set up for a run if my team can stop farting around and take advantage of it. I got the 3 seed so I'm matched up against the 6 seed, who probably is the worst team in the playoffs (in the first round anyway). He's not terrible if his team is fully healthy, but he's definitely a team I'd prefer playing against compared to the 4 and 5 seeds.

if I can pull out a win, I'd be going against the 2 seed in the next round, who is definitely by far the worst team in the playoffs. Every team in the playoffs has scored north of 1800 points this season, his team is in the 1600s. Dude just got lucky with so many matchups this year. My team is better than his at literally every position.

My path to the chip is there. I just need my team to do what they're capable of doing and continue to be the highest scoring team in the league. They have not done that the last 2 weeks. And most of them have a pretty tough end of year schedule unfortunately.

 

After starting 1-5 I actually made the playoffs.

out of my 5 WRs (John Brown, DeVante Parker, Jarvis Landry, Cooper Kupp, and D.J. Chark)

I currently have Kupp, Chark, and Parker in. .5 PPR. Hard not to start Landry but only have 2 spots, 1 RB/WR a lot. So can only play 3.

 

Start 2 in .5PPR: Carson @ LAR, Sutton @ HOU, Miles Sanders vs NYG​

God damn just realized I have to go through Lamar round 1. I mean if there is anything worth hoping for he is at Buffalo which is certainly better than home against the Bengals lol. Maybe he'll only get like 20 hahaha

 

Browns, Colts, or Packers D off waivers?

 

I have now lost three games this season by, COMBINED, 0.5 points.

 

Is Coleman droppable at this point? It basically comes down to who has the hot hand in that backfield at this point and breida is probably returning.

 

I like the Packers D this week. I'm starting them in one of my leagues.

Browns D has too many injuries/suspensions/chaos going on.

Jacoby Brissett @ TB
Josh Allen vs. BAL
Ryan Tannehill @ OAK

the top two are on my roster. Thinking about snagging one of the other guys and starting him instead. Some great matchups in here.

Josh Allen is on waivers? Definitely drop Brissett for him IMO

 

I don't think anyone's trusted him to keep sustaining like he is, especially with a not especially easy playoff schedule. But I've had him on my roster a few times this year and used him to spot start a game or two, same with a few other teams.

 

ehh I’ve started him the last five weeks and honestly comfortable rolling with him. Sure the defenses are getting more tough but he is being more secure on his possessions.

 

Allen is QB6 on the year

and thats with zero 300 yard passing games

 

Who would you guys start out of these guys:

Zach Pascal vs. TB
Will Fuller vs. Denver
Anthony Miller vs. Dallas
Brandin Cooks vs. Seattle
Phillip Dorsett vs. KC

1ppr and the other two I’m starting are Cooper Kupp and DeVante Parker

 

Fuller

might have a smaller floor, but the book potential is always there

 

This; he's not turning the ball over, which makes him a less desirable QB to target with a fantasy defense.

Though I think I'd roll Dak each week over him; but I'd pick up Allen over Brissett in case Dak gets hurt, etc.

 

One of those two; the full PPR makes me want to lean Miller since his target volume has been high; but Fullers ceiling is way higher. Depends what you need.

 

i think I might just need the floor and I like the fact that he plays Thursday because then I can assess what I got from him and slide fuller in at flex if it looks like I need upside

 

Anyone else's league have an acquisition limit? One of the leagues I'm in that already has a small 4 guy bench also has an acquisition limit of 30.

I had one move left and $35 to spend. Since I have Cook, I decided to use the FAAB on Mattison. But man I really hate having a limit on how many moves I can make!

 

We have a 4 per week limit which is more or less useless because it's hard to make 4 moves in one week lol. I've hit the limit once or twice this year just due to guys going to the IR slot later in the week and such.
