I was listening to the Fantasy Pro's podcast yesterday and they were SO against Williams and said "forgetting to put a waiver claim in for him is going to be a blessing in disguise" and I'm like ???? It is rare in a 12+ team league at week 12, with 4 good teams on a bye, to just not care about a running back expected to get the majority of carries behind a good offensive line against a terrible defense. Like to just not even put a claim in for him seems wild to me even if he busts or not lol.

Between Tyrell and Deebo in my ppr league. I think GB v SF is going to be a shootout, but the Jets secondary is trash.

Yeah, this was the theory of Ty Johnson too, so I understand why people were maybe hesitant...but its exactly the risk you take. There are no magic, new RBs happening this late in the season most years...and especially not ones who are guaranteed starters for a good 3-4 weeks.

 

Yep and you're gonna miss more than you hit, but it is all luck. For every Ty Johnson there was once a David Johnson or Damien Williams that maybe helped someone win down the stretch.

 

I have gone back-and-forth on starting Golladay or John Brown in my flex spot. Golladay has blow-up potential against Washington but Driskel isn't throwing to him & that screwed me last week. Brown has a higher ceiling but Denver's been a tough matchup for receivers this year. Would be an easier decision if Godwin wasn't going through a slump now so I have a security blanket in my 1-2 spot.

 

Yeah, those are nightmare choices. Im usually one to go for high ceiling over low floor, but feels like you have to play John Brown. He has 0 games below 50yds, 0 games below 4 catches...even in the nightmare NE matchup where Allen sucked, he still went 5/69. Unless you are non-PPR, he's a lock for 8pts, and you just hope he goes like 6/60/1TD to skate by for more.

In non-PPR, I'd play Golladay because he's pretty universally produced TDs against bad teams, and I cant imagine Brown being a strong play to get a TD or go for 100+ yards.

 

Yeah, I got burned by starting Chark over Brown a couple times for this same reason. I've also had a couple weeks where I left huge points on the bench and I'm worried about that happening with Golladay. Especially since Godwin/Zeke can't carry my team like they did earlier.

Well, thanks to facing Godwin (while I had Evans of course), and some poor lineup decisions on my part (well, really, just not starting Fuller over Bo and Monty), i need 31 PPR points from Aaron Jones, Mark Andrews, and the San Fran D

 

Oh my god I love when I’m projected to lose by 10 in fantasy, don’t check my phone for an hour, and Derrick Henry is carrying my teams corpse now I’m projected to win by 20 lol

 

I’m now looking ahead to next week. I control my destiny. If I win: I’m in the playoffs.

I have a BIG QB situation where I have Watson against NE (also Hopkins too).

Do I just roll with my dude and see what happens, or do I pick my luck with a Mayfield, Cousins, Tannehill play?

Man what a way to end the regular season of fantasy

Started 1-5, rattled off six straight wins after this week, so now I’m 7-5 and I will be the fourth seed in the playoffs, so wild

 

Holy fuck I lost in my 8-team 2 QB league to a team that was 1-10 and didn't start a WR or a RB. I was in third place and Matt Ryan scored less than 1 point and my kicker Matt Gay had negative 1.

0-2 this week.
