the thing with Allen is he will always have a high floor because of the rushing totals

not sure I would want any of those guys over him

I hopped off the train; but I have Matt Ryan already and picked up Darnold to week-to-week streaming. I agree that Im not sure those guys are the answer.

Denver is probably a good test; if he struggles there, he basically becomes unplayable for the fantasy playoffs.

I dropped Allen today but have Brees and Ryan as other options (I NEVER have 2 QBs but with Brees injured most of the year, I've been scrambling all year). I think Allen has a lot of tough matchups coming up. That said, I'm not sure I'd drop him for any of the QBs you mentioned.

I have Aaron Jones in one league, but in my other league (in which I'm somehow, someway in 2nd place) I specifically remember being at a crossroads during the draft on whether to pick Aaron Jones or Damien Williams. I ended up picking Williams, which obviously as we now see, was an awful choice (this was a day or two before Shady signed).

My other RBs are McCaffery, Ekelar and Carson so had I drafted Jones, there's no question I'd be in first place right now. I think I've only played D. Williams twice this year.

in my big $$ league, I am 5-6. If I win this week, I'm into the playoffs. Might even be able to get in if I lose, but would need another team to lose as well. The team I am playing this week is 3-8 and has
    Conner (likely out)
    Hilton (questionable)
    Fuller (questionable)
    Engram (not practicing)

I'm currently favored to win by 44 points based on projections

Can't wait to invent a new way to lose this week!

Gotta love fantasy, where you see someon is projected to win by 40+ and you think "Why would the app do that to them? Now they're doomed!"

Im likely gonna make the playoffs in my main league as the 5th or 6th seed, so now comes the lying to yourself phase where I say "I was 3-6, I finished winning 4 of the last 5...my team is peaking at the right time!"

Before getting demolished by 50pts in the opening round

I’m tempted to bench Golladay even in a good matchup so I don’t get screwed by Driskel not throwing to him again.

Really have no idea what to do this week. I hate Thursday night games they’re so unpredictable, starting 2 players from the same team is super risky (Hopkins is my WR1). This is the worst week for Gordon to be on a bye!!

    Need a RB2, WR2 and flex

    Hyde
    D. Moore
    Samuels

    Parker
    Sutton
    McLaurin

Bold is how I have it

I wish I had changed my user name... Prestigious

Decided to go all in for the trade deadline and threw offers at literally everyone in my league that had anything of use just to see what happened. Ended up swapping a good chunk of my roster out and I honestly feel like there wasn't much improvement but at the end of the day I wasn't winning games with what I had so why not try right?

Out: Leonard Fournette, Damien Williams, Carlos Hyde, Kenny Golladay, John Brown, Deebo Samuel

In: Josh Jacobs, Austin Ekeler, Miles Sanders, Cooper Kupp, Allen Robinson

So good news for anyone holding that first batch of players as they'll probably all explode and score a ton of TD now that I've cut bait.

    Watson
    Kamara, Jacobs, Ekeler, Sanders, Mattison
Julio, Kupp, OBJ, Robinson, Green, Harry
    Lutz
Saints D + waiting for Jets D to clear waivers

This is either a championship squad or the all-disappointment team

Unless you're a big underdog I don't see a problem with starting two guys on the same team, especially when one is Hopkins

I would go Hyde and Moore regardless. Parker in flex if standard, Samuels if PPR (or 0.5)

My concern is just Thursday night games being such a shitshow it's hard to put faith in 2 offensive players from the same team lol. I think Conner is going to be out this week so you think Hyde over Samuels still at RB2?

    Maybe so, maybe not.

Is starting Hines over Michel in half point PPR foolish or very foolish?

I would still go with Hyde due to his touch count, but Samuels is certainly a solid play if Conner is out

Yeah, I think you have it right assuming some PPR...if not then Id consider Parker for your flex. Parker/Sutton both have potentially very tough matchups...and McLaurin has too much bust potential.

Even if you went Samuels as your RB2, you'd play Hyde over all of those WR's 100% of the time.

Sorry, guys, but I need Watson to fail hard tonight.

  21. preppyak

Yeah, then Hyde is the strongest play of them all, probably even over Samuels. Hard to turn down what is regularly a 15-20 touch guy in non-PPR

    Niyem Hines or Tarik Cohen

I like the possible game script against a terrible giants team. But then again I can see a lot of short dunks to hines in the Texans game

Add Jaylen Samuels into this mix and that is what I'm stuck between deciding for my flex lol.
