I’m down 13 with Mike Williams, Ekeler, and Butker to go. Based on the last couple of weeks Butker could get me that on his own lol but I’m gonna be watching it until I know for sure.

Several weeks ago I (rightfully) traded Robert Woods + Austin Ekeler for Melvin Gordon.

This week, I played that owner...he had dropped Robert Woods 2 weeks ago (shallow bench league)...and I picked him up. Thought that really cemented the trade in my favor. Except his surprise inactive meant I had to drop him and play Gerald Everett (for a fun 2pts), and I came into tonight up 10pts with my Gordon vs his Ekeler + Butker. That ended poorly. Had I picked up Taylor Gabriel, or had Woods been announced out earlier and I played James White, I win this week.

I hate fantasy football...both games I lost this week (as the #1 and #5 teams in my league) were to the #11 teams in my league. Is there a survivor style fantasy league where like, after Week 6, the worst teams get eliminated week by week?

The closest I have heard to that is a guillotine league but we should make one like this it's a great idea.

Someone on r/fantasyfootball developed this tool where you can input your league's URL and it will run a super quick sim where every team faces every other team each week to give you a "true" win-loss. I really wish I hadn't done this because it just amplifies my frustration.

It's here though in case anyone wants to check it out: Fantasy Tools

The next two weeks could be wild for determing the playoffs in my league lol

    Dak Prescott @ NE
    Jacoby Brissett @ HOU

I know everyone is sniffing Dak right now but as an Eagles fan that has watched him a lot the last 4 years, I still can't call myself a full believer, at least not to the point where I consider him matchup proof. He's got a rough end of year schedule here starting this week.

If we don't like Brissett, Foles is out there as an option I could pick up..

I'd go Brissett, he torched them earlier this year and NE D has been really good all year sans the Lamar game

In my league the top 5 spots already have the asterisk next to their name (myself included, currently in second place). The 6th spot going to go to a person with a 6-7 record.

In my other league only one player currently has the asterisk next to their name and 10 of the remaining players all genuinely have a chance to make it in the top 6. It’s gonna be a wild two weeks.

Just comparing the current standings of these leagues go to show how crazy fantasy football gets around this time of the year

I'm not really sure how you can bench Dak right now

he leads the league in passing yards and is the 3rd ranked QB on the year

Why does ESPN keep projecting 8/9 points for Lat Murray the last 2 weeks and now this one? He's done absolutely nothing since Kamara came back

It seems pretty clear they do a combo of "last 4 weeks avg" and "season avg" and then apply a little matchup adjustment to make their guesses. Its why someone clearly breaking out takes like 3-4 weeks to get even close to accurate guesses.

Id also bet they have a depth chart element (RB1, RB2, etc)...because at least Yahoo does a decent job of capturing a guys brief rise if a starter gets hurt.

But yeah...just use the last 4 week avg over the projections

That's wild. I thought my league was tight with two at 8-3, two at 7-4, one at 6-5, two at 5-6 and the last five all at 4-7

Dude who is currently in the last playoff spot dropped Conner this morning instead of trying to trade him away before the deadline lol

he dropped him for Robby Anderson btw lmao

Which of these WRs would you rather have ROS? They're all on waivers.

    Brandin Cooks
    Darius Slayton
    Deebo Samuel

Hmmm if kittle remains out, I would do deebo. Sanders is still pretty banged up also.

I really don’t trust cooks/slayton since both offenses are inconsistent.

Need a TE streamer this week:

Ryan Griffin and Dallas Goedert have really good matchups but I feel Jacob Hollister may have the most opportunity. Leaning on picking up Hollister.

thats tough. Who knows what to expect out of Cooks and with Sterling Shepard close to coming back, Slayton may not get as many targets.

    I guess I'd lean Deebo

yeah I would take Hollister. I picked him up myself in one of my leagues.

I picked up Deebo this morning. My WR situation is a mess, especially with JuJu being awful/injured.

With Kittle out, I feel like Deebo is Jimmy G's favorite target.

Njoku just got designated to return and will practice today

Would it be dumb to drop Robert Woods for Devante Parker ROS lol

Woods has been such a disappointment

Id do it. I was forced to drop Woods last week and I dont regret it. Parkers been good and if youre making the playoffs, they have a cake schedule for WRs.

Not at all. I picked up woods off waivers a week or two back and dropped him Sunday night when he was out. They havent even actually confirmed why he was out or if he's playing this week.

God, looking at my draft in my main league, if I had taken the person just before or after me in every round, my team would be infinitely better:

Round 1: OBJ (Julio was taken just before)
Round 2: Bell (Cook was the next pick)
    Round 3: Woods (Godwin before)
Round 4: Edelman (Henry taken after)
Round 5: Jeffrey (Robby Anderson...the first one i did better)
Round 6: James White (DJ Moore)
    Round 7: Ekeler (Russell Wilson...maybe a wash?)
    Round 8: Guice (Gallup)

Its only in Round 9 when I took Lamar that I truly break the cycle. No wonder that team is constantly under performing...Ive had to hack a team together off waivers.

Is it time to hop off the josh Allen train? His schedule gets tough down the stretch. Wentz, mayfield, Carr are on waivers right now.

I recently discovered I would have about 150 more points scored if I would have taken CMC over Kamara, but I still would be 6-5 instead of 5-6 because everyone goes off the week I face them. Sometimes looking back is an awful idea
