Hey guys, I just got an offer of Kerryon Johnson and OBJ for my David Johnson.
My RBs as of now are DJ, Cook, Jones and Williams.
My WRs are ARob, Cooks, Gallup, Green, Gordon.
    Thoughts?

Id probably do it. I'd call OBJ/DJ about a wash; DJ you basically take as a WR that happens to get 30-40 rush yards a game as well and he's about matched OBJ. Feels like a good buy low on OBJ potentially; hard to believe a guy getting 9 targets/game is gonna consistently be bottled up.

Cook/Kerryon also become your RB1/RB2 in case Jones/Williams gets dicey in a timeshare. And you have ARob/Cooks/OBJ as your main WR plays with Gallup for bye weeks. Also gives you room to make future trades if that Jones/Williams situation goes sideways.

I appreciate the feedback but ended up declining. DJ has been tearing it up and it was hard for me to let him go. Kerryon is good but I feel his ceiling is not near as high as DJs. OBJ is definitely a buy low at this point, but I felt like his consistency scares me a little too much. I'm also 2-4 in this league and OBJ has a bye and then plays NE - I need wins now.

I picked up Hunter Henry, SF D & Mark Walton on the wavier this morning. Still thinking about picking up Josh Allen over Goff but Goff has some juicy matchups these next two weeks. As does Allen, but Rams definitely have the better overall offense in my opinion and would be more likely to go off.

A few of the 'expert' rankings have Goff (quite literally one spot) above Allen too.

Goff SHOULD have a great week considering Atlanta's defense is a God damn joke

Don’t forget Darnold and the Jets D have an insanely easy schedule coming up after this week

I'm big mad about Darnold right now. I had a trade discussion and couldn't get it over the line before I went to bed. Didn't have anyone I could drop because AJ Green wasn't IR eligible anymore. I was going to claim Darnold and hold him through Watson's bye, I think he plays the Giants that week. Someone with Dak and Cam picked him up. Why?!

Anyways I made a different trade this morning and cashed in some depth. It stings a bit in the short term but I think that it could really pay off.

Gave Tevin Coleman, Michael Gallup and Golden Tate, got Leveon Bell.

I traded them to the team that is 0-6 so even if they all blow up, I don't foresee it doing anything other than playing spoiler for other teams. Now I have Kamara, Fournette and Bell as basically locked in starters at RB and one flex. OBJ, Edelman and Golladay at WR and the other flex. AJ Green coming back soon (hopefully) and Waller as other flex options. Now is the time I start taking lottery tickets to build the depth back up.

Love it. I've been trying to cash in on trades like this but had no luck. You basically upgraded from Coleman to Bell (who already had his bye and has a juicy schedule). You have the WR depth so you can afford to lose Gallup and Tate.

2 seasons ago I had Kamara, Fournette, and Bell as my 3 running backs, drafted Bell in the 1st round, and Fournette 2nd round (also had Hopkins that year too with my 4th round pick), and Kamara in the 13th.

I lost in the championship to Gurley.

Yeah I literally just texted the dude (who works at a plant and is on midnights more often than not) at like 5:30 this morning and I was like "you're 0-6 so what do I have to do to get Bell off you" and that was that lol

I also lost to Gurley in the championship two years ago. I have a long, hilarious history in this league. I started it in 2014 so this is the 6th year. 2014 history got lost so I can't remember how I lost that one exactly.

2014 - Lost championship, cause unknown

2015 - Lost championship 104.9 to 102.5 - Blair Walsh scores 20 points. Two weeks later, he forgets how to kick and still has not recovered.

2016 - Lost championship 142.1 to 127 - Picked up Tyler Lockett over Adam Thielen to cover for an injury. Lockett broke his leg before halftime. Thielen went for 200 yards and 2 TD.

    2017 - Lost championship 128.1 to 102 - Todd Gurley rushes for 150 and scores 3 TDs.

2018 - Lost in the semifinals 131.5 to 103.9 - Damien Williams has his coming out party on TNF and hangs 27 on me. To rub salt in the wound, my team scores a league record 193.6 points in the 3rd place game.

Now this is absolutely god damn brutal. Wow. I do also have a strong history in my league since like 2011 for making the championship and losing, but not in the fashion you have.

Yeah the AJ Green losing IR eligibility despite there being like no evidence he should be listed as anything other than "out" right now is dumb.

I have a lot of brutal beats, but I wanna humble brag about my decision to start Robby Anderson in my WR2 slot in the chip last year, where he scored me like 25 points and it was the difference in me winning or losing the game. My team had fallen apart due to injuries but I got to the chip and on Sunday morning I was starting....I don;t even know. I think my choices were GOlden Tate and Tim Patrick. I checked out the FA market and Anderson was available and had a good matchup so I pulled the trigger.

That is brutal. Only one worse I know is my brother won our 2014 league championship by 0.98pts. Until the stat correction came; New England was credited with a blocked kick, a 2pt swing, and he lost the league title instead. He's got a pretty long streak of brutal injuries costing him semifinal games too; but nothing quite like yours in the final.

which end of this would ya'll rather have?

    Chris Carson
    DJ Chark OR Allen Robinson

    Aaron Jones
    DJ Moore
    Chase Edmonds

keep in mind the person receiving Edmonds has DJ

It’s close, but I’d rather have Carson and Chark/ARob

If I was the DJ owner, Id probably want the 2nd half of that trade if I had the bench space. Robinson/Moore is a wash to me, both are steady targets but not super high ceiling guys...so, its basically Carson for Jones + feeling like he's 100% gonna be needed handcuff. Id probably take the risk that Jones loses some carries to ensure I have an RB1 every week if DJ goes down.

If I didnt own DJ, I'd like the Carson/Robinson side of things because Im not wasting a roster spot on a guy I cant be sure will ever play, and Im getting, in Carson, the highest volume RB in the league. Only thing I havent looked at is Jones v Carson in Weeks 14-16, which would make my ultimate decision.

Honestly, thats about the perfect "neither owner wants to take a risk" trade. That said, if I owned Edmonds, I might push him more straight up for a playable piece each week instead.

Someone offered me Gurley and Henderson Jr for Aaron Jones and Sam Darnold. My other QB is Goff but I’m thinking of rolling with Darnold ROS after this week because his schedule is great. Thoughts? I feel like Gurley for Jones is pretty even.

Mine is similar to this. I won by 1 pt in the championship. That following Thursday they stat corrected Spencer Ware from 70 yards to 69 which took away a point resulting in a tie. Other guy had more bench pts and won.
