I need depth on my bench, I don't put much stock into a tight end, I have Hooper and Walker. I got offered Courtland Sutton for Austin Hooper. That's not awful right ? Especially for depth on my bench ?

 

Only thing is Hooper is really looking like a reliable every week start at TE … and Walker is apart of a Mariota led offense and he is so unreliable. If Sutton is just a depth piece and may not start for you, remember Walker WILL have to start if you trade Hooper.

 

I would counter with Delanie for Sutton

 

I trird, I may try Walker for something lesser of value.

 

I mean Sutton is already better value than Walker lol

 

He countered with Sutton and Duke Johnson for Hooper. He also mentioned Alshon Jeffery straight up for Hooper, but Jeffery won't make it into my starting line up unless it's a bye.

 

I wouldnt give up Hoop for Sutton and Duke. At that point Id tell him Im hanging onto him. Then see if he makes a better offer.

 

I'm going to do it because I need the depth, I can live without TE 1 production. Wentz, CMC, Aaron Jones, Kupp, Keenan Allen and Edleman will make up for it imo.

Totally ! Outside of kicker and defense I think TE is the most useless position in fantasy except for a couple guys.

He countered and asked for OBJ instead of Edelman and I just sent him links to two Twitter posts...one of John Ross going to IR and the other stating Christian Kirk is likely not playing Sunday

 

John Ross is on IR. Glad that I have a job where I have to wake up at 5:30 in the morning. Was able to grab Auden Tate as a FA this morning (before the news even broke he was going on IR).

Yeah I grabbed Auden Tate early this morning too before the Ross to IR news broke. Luckily he wasn’t on anyone in my league’s radar and didn’t get claimed off waivers.

 

Kind of happy I got Auden Tate and AJ Brown as FA pickups today and now have the #1 waiver claim locked in.

 

If you can do Gordon for Allen straight up, I would 100% do that trade.

 

just got Austin Hooper for Diggs since I was playing the TE carousel. The guy who had Hooper also had Engram so im like LETS MAKE A DEAL

 

That John Ross news is clutch...guy in my league who has Gordon has AJ Green, Njoku, and Ross, so he's taken some brutal hits early and has literally no WRs to fill in currently for his starting team. I can drop a 2-for-1 to get Gordon hopefully (I have Edelman, Woods, Jeffrey, McLaurin, and Tate stacking up in my WR2 and flex spots)

 

Diontae Johnson for sure. He and Rudolph had all offseason to work together and Johnson has had some big plays.

Tate strikes me as someone who gets a lot of targets on a very bad team that wont score many points (so you're getting a lot of 7/70 or 6/80 games without TDs), and who becomes irrelevant the second AJ Green comes back.
