Should I pick up Winston and drop Goff?

Brees is my QB so I just need someone for the next 4-5 weeks and Goff has been OK at best.

 

I think you're looking at a push at best. You might do better this week, but Goff has decent match-ups Weeks 6-8, and Winston is on bye Week 7. Also, Winston is way more likely to drop a 4pt game on you than Goff.

You might honestly do better with Minshew, who's put up 4 straight ~16-17pt games, including against two top 5 fantasy D's so far. He gets NYJ/CIN/HOU in a row Weeks 7-9, Brees is probably back Week 10 after their bye. Maybe roll Brissett this week v KC then Minshew after...

Depends if you need stability or big weeks

 

I think I might just stick with Goff. I feel his floor is safer than everyone else’s at this point. I don’t really trust Minshew or Brissett at this point.

 

Just got offered Chris Carson and Terry McLaurin for Melvin Gordon and I’m truly considering it. Full ppr

 

Pass. Carson could lose his job any given week and I don’t trust Washington

 

Yeah, Carson is a fumble or two away to a reserve role behind penny. And mclaurin could be ineffective if they role with Haskins this point forward.

 

Is anyone else screwed with the TE position?

I drafted OJ Howard in both leagues I'm in.

In one, I scooped up Jimmy Graham off waivers, so I'm rolling with him.

In the other, I picked up Eifert to stream against the Cardinals this week. Someone else picked up Herndon (who I was hoping to get). Think I should ride this TE streamcoaster all season or try to trade for someone like Greg Olsen (guy also has Ertz).

maybe just wait this week to see what Olson does with Allen, the first week he looked good, but was non existent this last week. TE position is such a crapshoot to say the least.

Okay so this might be a longer one but I need some advice. Both my team and the one I'm targeting are 3-1. He's gotten there by beating the worst teams and has been just absolutely ravaged by bad luck and injuries (AB, Guice, Ross, Mike Williams, drafted and dumped Winston, etc.)

Here's his team right now at the relevant positions
RB: CMC, Gordon, Henry, Ronald Jones, Guice (IR)
WR: Kirk, Sutton, Ross, Williams, Agholor, Allison
TE (flex only): Hockenson

So I'm trying to use my relative depth at pass catcher to peel either Henry or Gordon away, whichever one he sees as the third best.

My team:
RB: Kamara, Fournette, Hyde, Gore, Coleman
WR: OBJ, Golladay, Edelman, Tate, Gallup, AJ Green (IR)
Flex: Waller

So I offered Edelman and Waller and he said the value was close. I'm trying to sweeten the pot. If I add one of Hyde/Gore (preferably not Coleman) without asking for anyone back at all, am I overpaying?

He's real desperate for receivers so I'm going back and forth between "don't trade with him, just let him sink" and "Kamara, Henry and Fournette could be dominant"
