Thanks for the input. It's a 10 team PPR league. I just listed all the positions instead of listing starters vs bench players.

Also I had 9th pick in the draft and drafted J. Jones with my pick.

In mocks I was doing 2-3 weeks ago, it was actually not uncommon. But now with Elliot and Gordon holding out, Mack's value down, etc...yeah, its pretty shocking.

People do silly things in drafts. "Top" QBs go way too early, defenses and kickers get drafted before the last two rounds, etc. etc. It being a 10-team league also shifts ADP by a few spots.

Yep, 2-3 weeks will change a lot. Carson/Michel were 5th rounders a month ago and now I've seen both going as early as the 2nd round lol.

Seattle or Dallas will probably be the chalk I Would imagine

Baltimore looks like a solid choice for pick em this week.

eh, I agree I think they'll win but I try to avoid picking road teams...especially this early

plus, its going to be hot and steamy in Miami on Sunday

I was in full stay away mode with Fournette until I read the Bleacher Report piece on him and read he called his strength coach from LSU and spent the winter in Wyoming training and shed like 20 lbs because he knows he's nearing the make or break point. I don't want to say one article fully swung me but it made me feel a lot better that he seems committed to turning his career around.

At WR I sacrificed getting a better WR1 to have RB depth. I'm hoping that eventually I have a couple guys outplaying expectations and can parlay my depth into someone more explosive. Even when Gordon returns Ekeler was a flex level scorer in my league last year so I feel pretty good

12 team, .5PPR, 12th pick...this league has no TE and instead has 2RB/2WR/2Flex.

    QB: Lamar Jackson
RB: Bell, White, Ekeler, Guice, Penny, Jones III
WR: Beckham, Woods, Edelman, Jeffrey, Coutee
    K: Myers
    D: Texans

My team is potentially garbage at RB if White falls off big from last year or Ekeler/Guice dont pan out, but the beauty of this league is I can start all 4 of my WRs each week. Gonna need some waiver wire magic though by bye weeks.

Team I drafted for my wife on the other hand (Pick 1), I like a lot more.

    QB: Winston
    RB: Barkley, Gurley, Michel, Singletary
WR: Allen, Kupp, Landry, Westbrook, Allison, Sanders
    K: Lutz
    D: Vikings

haha yeah that article was what swayed me too. I wanted nothing to do with Fournette up to about 2 weeks ago. I know its just preseason, but he looked explosive in week 3. Then I was all in after reading that article.

Ekeler is a great value pick, he was still getting 12-15 ppr pts a game when Gordon was playing so hopefully that continues.

Since I tossed AJ Green into my IR spot, I have one open bench spot. Who would be the best RB to stash on my bench in case of injury or something bizarre happening? Here some available:

    CJ Anderson
    Jaylen Samuels
    Jamal Williams
    Dare Ogunbowale
    Alex Mattison
    Darwin Thompson
    Malcolm Brown

out of those, I would go Ogunbowale as it sounds like he might get 3rd down work right away

Dare probably has the biggest potential for immediate impact. Brown and Thompson are the highest upside. Jaylen Samuels after them, IMO.

Dare or Mattinson, though I prefer Dare. He’s the only good pass catching back on that team and Ronald Jones just is not good.

  17. I have one kinda weird league. It’s 8 teams PPR. Keep one player each year. My keeper was Hopkins and then I picked 6th.

    QB: Deshaun Watson, Cam Newton

RB: Todd Gurley, Kerryon Johnson, Melvin Gordon, Tevin Coleman, Jordan Howard, Kareem Hunt

WR: DeAndre Hopkins, Odell Beckham, Stefon Diggs, Cooper Kupp, James Washington

    TE: Hunter Henry

    D: Rams

    K: Fairbairn

I think Samuels and Dare the better options for immediate roles. I think Mattison/Brown/Thompson have the best situations if an injury happens. Thompson and Brown both have another RB in their way if 1 injury happens, where Mattison is the definite 2nd on the depth chart (although Boone looks good).

Wrapped up my draft in my main league a few nights ago. 10 team, superflex, half ppr. I drafted Robby Anderson and Tony Pollard, but I managed to trade the both two days ago for Tyler Lockett lol. Here's what my team is looking like now:

    QB: Deshaun Watson, Kirk Cousins
RB: Leonard Fournette, Austin Ekeler, Matt Breida, Justice Hill, Justin Jackson, Malcolm Brown, Melvin Gordon
WR: DeAndre Hopkins, Tyler Lockett, Calvin Ridley, Cooper Kupp, John Brown
    TE: Travis Kelce
    DEF: Patriots
    K: Jake Elliott

    I have McCoy and Fournette

Would you trade McCoy for either

Cupp + Armstead (Fournette’s Backup obvs)

    Or

    Tyler Lockett + Armstead

I would rather have Lockett over Kupp. I think the Seahawks will find themselves in shootouts within their own division or against the NFC South, which will create more opportunity for Lockett to feast, especially if he's lined up in the slot where he absolutely crushed last season. Jaron Brown and D.K. Metcalf figure to be the outside WRs.

Meanwhile, I wouldn't be surprised if Kupp has a slow start to the season coming off his late season ACL tear. Sean McVay also wants to involve the tight ends a little more in 12 personnel. Kupp figures to be taken off the field in two-tight end formations.

I would take either one of those in an instant lol

Kupp if its PPR, Lockett if not

This. I think McCoy is gonna end up the starter for KC, but, not in the way previous KC RB's have been RB1 level talents. And if I could get a solid WR2 for him right now, that's an easy choice.

    0.5 ppr

would you guys trade (my) DJ Moore and Rashaad Penny for Stefon Diggs?

    Have Nuk/Gallup/Moncrief at WR, Kamara/A. Jones/D. Montgomery/Barber/J. Jackson/Singletary at RB

I'd do that. Your RBs are pretty set and you could use another good WR.
