In my league this week, a couple of years back, on of the guys bought this trophy that looks like a toilet, so its become the perennial title for the 11th/12th place game.

This year, in a game decided by 2pts, it was the Colts scoring that garbage time TD that decided the matchup...hard to find a more perfect finish the the Toilet Bowl than a garbage time TD costing a defense a few points

Also, unless you win your league, there is no greater feeling than being the 6th seed in the playoffs and getting murdered in the 1st round. Week 15 was actually fun to watch for the first time ever. My terrible teams squeaked in for Week 14, did as expected, and now I can pretend I never owned any of them.

This is year 6 of this league for me and this is my 5th championship appearance. It's definitely the worst regular season I've had (6-7) and I have to say it's the most satisfying semi-final win I've had yet. I'm not sure if it's because I'm the 6th seed and had such bad luck all year or because it was a 149-144 win, but either way I'm just thrilled to be still in it.

Onto this week. I'm playing the Dalvin Cook/Mattison owner. I have $21 and he has $20 FAAB so I can choose who I want.

Should I grab Mike Boone (I could flex him if Cook/Matt are out) or Breshad Perriman (I could also flex him)

    Current lineup:

    QB: Jackson
    RB: Fournette
    RB: Ekeler
    WR: Thomas
    WR: Adams
    TE: Ertz
    Flex: AJ Brown
    Flex: Diggs

Bench: Murray, Lindsay, Goedert, Slayton, Mostert

    Having trouble deciding my flex's.

I would cockblock and grab Boone. You don't really need Perriman

I would also drop Murray/Goedert and pick up dudes he might need

So, I'm in the title game for the second year in a row, I have Sutton at flex but I'm not sure if like him with Lock at QB. Should I try to pick up Perriman and start him over Sutton ?

Yeah thats a great point. He only has 3 RBs rostered (CMC/Cook/Mattison). I could snag Boone and the other best options on the wire - Cohen is the only decent option available.

Such a tough call. Broncos play Detroit at home and their secondary's been getting smoked. But the Bucs play Houston who's secondary has also been getting smoked. Are you able to snag Perriman and wait til later in the week to make the decision??

The 3 for 3 club feels gooooood.

I think I'm the underdog for atleast two of them though.

I'll know tomorrow if I get Perriman, my issue with Sutton is that Slay will be covering him and I'm sure that will hurt Lock in getting him the ball. It's just that Sutton has been boom or bust lately.

Already carrying Mattison (have been for weeks) and had him in the IR slot Sunday after he was ruled out. Using the ESPN IR glitch in my favor and put a bunch of claims in before they remove the designation.

    Trying to get:
Boone or DJ Chark for Jacob Hollister
Chark or Higbee for Philly D
Higbee or Justin Watson for DeAndre Washington

I'm 8th in waiver order. My opponent is 12 and the guys in the 3rd place game are 9 and 10. Hopefully no one else cares this week since there's no money on the line

I'm pretty sure Cook is going to play Monday night, so not sure how many of you want to waste your waiver position or $ on Boone. The Vikings were killing the Chargers, which led me to believe Cook didn't return out of precautionary reasons. Yesterday, Zimmer said Cook should be good to go for Week 16 AND he has an extra day of rest.

Also with it being a Monday night game, and many Saturday games this weekend, it would be pretty disastrous if you relied on waiting to see if Cook plays only to find out that he does in fact play and all your other options have played already.

    It's definitely a risk.

Cook left the game at the beginning of the 3rd quarter when the Vikes were up by 9, so at that point they weren't necessarily blowing them out. But keeping him out was definitely for precautionary purposes.

I wish we knew more about the situation going into tonight. But I think Mattison or Boone is absolutely worth spending $ on if you're in the finals. If we find out later in the week that Cook is out on Monday, then either of these backups could deliver.

Unless you're in a league where someone like AJ Brown is still available, there's likely not many guys available who you'd pick up and put into your championship game roster.

Edit: I also have Diggs in my flex so Im willing to pick up Boone and find out. If Cook/Mattison are out, Im switching Boone out for him.

If you can 'afford' the pick-up, then sure, why not? I'm just saying, if there are other guys out there, you may want to look at them. I'm in an 8-team league and a 10-team league, so there is always a little value on the wire, whereas 12 teams or more, there likely isn't.

Also, with your situation specifically where you say you were trying to block the Cook/Mattison owner, I'm just saying, it may not be worth it because if Cook ultimately plays, then you picked up Boone for nothing. At this point of the season, I would focus more on what helps you the most rather than what could potentially hurt your opponent.

I totally feel ya. Definitely two sides of the coin in this situation. Just sucks we dont have more clarity!!

Championship game vs the same opponent/friend I played last year in the championship. We finished two highest scoring teams in the league this year and early projections are showing me at 112 and him at 111 (non PPR - only 4 pts per passing TD). Should be a wild weekend.

I don't really need anyone on the waiver wire but I may put in for Winston just for the hell of it (I have Brees/Tannehill). My opponent has Lamar so he's definitely not going to put in for Winston. I may also try to snag Perriman or McLauren, but I likely wouldn't play them over Edelman (brutal match-up/kind of injured - but I'm gonna ride with him), AJ Brown, Deebo or Anderson.

Given Zimmer's comments yesterday AND the fact Cook gets an extra day of rest, I'd be pretty shocked if Cook doesn't go.

And it’s a pivotal game for the nfc North.

I’ll probably still put a waiver in for Boone, but my #1 priority is perriman.

I'm using my claim on Perriman over Boon. Perriman is a little safer because you know he is Winston's number 1 target against the 4th worst passing defense fantasy wise, where as Boon is amazing only if Cook AND Mattison remain out, and it is also a MNF game so you would need a backup plan.

Also very ton on my defense this week. Bills @ NE or MIN vs GB?

Both went off last week ... but the matchups aren't ideal this week.

I'd probably stick with Tannehill. He's been one of the hottest QBs for the past 7-8 weeks and that game could very well be a high scoring shootout.
