    Never watched any of the fantastic beasts or read the book, but from what I've heard they're nowhere near the quality of the harry potter films

    The book is not any of the movies. The book is a school text book within the story.

    The movies are not as good as the HP ones. The first is incredibly boring. I haven’t watched it since the theater, but I think I’d say the 3rd is the best, but the bar is low.
