Fang Island Band

The self-titled is so wildly underrated. I miss this band and wonder what they're up to these days

 

Self-titled was very important to me in my college years. Going to jam it today, thx

 

Sideswiper was a huge song for me. Used it in a project once

 

Davy Crockett was the song that made me fall in them haha. It was around the time where I started to get into "indie" music for the first time after being closed-minded towards other genres besides rock, metal and hardcore for a long time. Listened to Cursive, Phoenix, Sufjan Stevens, Beirut, MBDTF all around this time and it was glorious

 

Adore this band. Self-titled record rules and Major has some real jams too, like Dooney Rock and Chompers.

 

Wasn't a huge fan of Major but "Dooney Rock" is siiiiiick
