I agree with the Fear Before comparison. Good stuff!

 

It reminds me of a mix between Norma Jean (Anti-mother era), Underoath, and Powerman 5000 (no disrespect). Overall, it was good though

 

I think it was the tempo, range of vocal styles and incorporation of some industrial(?) and noisy elements that made me think of them.

 

Why would I feel disrespected, tony hawk pro skater for life hahaha

 

I mean the sound is a fairly linear progression from out guitarists’ old band, which Michelle was in also, called It’s The Lipstick on Your Teeth. Careful, it’s an EXTREMELY acquired taste but personally they’re one of my all time top 10 bands.

 

You all are on to something great my man, keep at it and I'm very keen to hear where you take this!

This is pretty tight too. It reminds me a bit of Atari Teenage Riot, and I think Michelle has a bit of a Nic Endo/Hanin Elias vibe going on here, which is sick.

Listen to the whole album it’s a fucking masterpiece. And ATR was def what they were going for. So happy I found the one other person in the world who appreciates Lipstick haha.
