This Ain't A Scene vs. Lawyer was really hard for me. I'd argue that Lawyer is probably a better song, but I just have more memories and attachment to This Ain't A Scene.

I'm surprised Thnks fr th Mmrs is beating Take Over...

 

Arguably the worst song on the album knocking out one of the best does seem like a trend in this bracket.

 

I mean you can make an argument for Hum Hallelujah beating Crashing: it's a fun song with a fun chorus that incorporates a different good song in a fun way. It's a very weak argument, in my opinion, but it's an argument nonetheless.

But Thnks Fr Th Mmrs over The Take Over? Worst single over the best? Come on.

Take Over is one of their best songs period imo, not many songs in their discography I would vote for over it

Didn’t really feel like writing this time around, but yeah, this round seems even more clear cut to me which songs are superior, and I’m baffled that in every single matchup they’re losing.

 

Most bands go their entire career without writing a song half as catchy and interesting as Take Over.
