There’s a few songs I’ve enjoyed post-hiatus but I rarely ever come back to them because I never loved any of those records or songs. This snippet sounds like they’re going back towards their more classic sound and all I can say is *finally* and *thank you baby Jesus*
I like scattered stuff from the post-hiatus period, and I really enjoyed MANIA, but this snippet has me the most excited since I first heard their last pre-hiatus stuff (From Now On We are Enemies, Alpha Dog, etc.).
quite literally my least favorite fall out boy song of all time and i consider myself a massive, massive fan
I think all three reunion albums are good with AB/AP being some of their best work, I’ll follow this band whatever style or genre they want to try because it always lands. Clip sounds nice even with the garbage Twitter quality
You realize that most of that is looking back, right? Opinions can always change, of course, for various reasons. But the band, before the album is released, saying it’s bad and still teasing it? Can you find even one example?
didn't some of the slipknot members for the last album say it was just kind of thrown together? maybe I'm misremembering
I've heard the song could fit right in with quite a bit on those albums. Cause those albums are good, and have guitars on them!
The "Fall Out Boy took the guitar out of their songs" take is a really tired one. It's been prominently featured in many songs post-2013, just not may always have driving distortion.
