January 18th for the first single apparently

 

so odd, why start teasing a full 3 weeks before the single comes out?

i guess they could announce the album before but idkn

 

bands do this shit all the time tho. its nothing new. it builds hype and what not

I guess this means that tracklist was fake.

I'm wondering if he at least knew the album name and made up the rest. "Welcome to the Other Side" sounds like it would be track 1 to "The Other Side of the Apocalypse". Or I'm completely wrong and just bored!

 

yeah but that long before you even reveal anything? i saw people on the last news post saying they were tired of it already

Yes bands tease sometimes for a month straight building shit up.

Rise against is a prime example with how they teaesed nowhere generation last year and the ep this year. With the ep they released sound bits in April and it didn’t come out until June

 

Also the 18 is in 3 weeks from today it’s not that long of a time to wait

 

they probably don’t want to release while all the holidays are going on

 

New song would’ve been a great Xmas gift from FOB

 

Merry Christmas I could care less. (But I can't wait for new tunes!)

 

Would make more sense to release it before AlterEgo instead but I guess we'll see.

 

Didn’t someone say you basically need to do that now to juice the social media algorithm? Like you can’t make a post that goes wide after being dormant for months.

 

I said the release date of the album was confirmed. Not the tracklist or album name.

update: source says it drops before then, guess we’ll see

 

The DCD2 account says the single is out at the end of the month. Not sure if I believe that.
