Save Rock and Roll is so good.

 

Been on a big "Where Did the Party Go" kick on my runs.

 

I just listened to that yesterday for the first time in what feels like forever.

it’s really, really good.

What an accomplishment to go on hiatus and then surprise drop THAT.

Like, the gall of coming back with a fucking Elton John feature on a song called Save Rock and Roll.

 

Not a single skippable track on SRAR in my opinion. Even The Mighty Fall and Rat a Tat have redeeming qualities

 

To piggy back off of my own point, I’ve been doing a discography run over the last few days. And something I don’t think I ever properly appreciated about this band is their sheer audacity.

 

It’s what keeps them exciting. They rarely went into anything without the thought that they’re the best band in the world.

 

Rat a tat is one of my favorites on SRAR and I have no regrets sharing this information

 

That chorus is amazing, and people who say they hate this song (just because of Courtney Love) are kidding themselves
