I think I like Super Fade more than City in a Garden:shrug:

Dang, I forget sometimes how much I love that IOH/Folie sound. Lake Effect Kid is so good.

I love their newest stuff, but Lake Effect Kid reminded me that I still think their best sound was in the IoH/Folie era.

Lake Effect Kid > Super Fade > City in a Garden

If anything lake effect kid shows how the divide between their pre hiatus stuff and post hiatus stuff isn’t nearly as wide as everyone let’s on

I'm so happy that they blessed us with the song Lake Effect Kid. I don't expect to hear songs like this from FOB anymore, so it's nice to get a little taste like this.

This EP reminds of PAX Am Days existence.

What? I'd say Lake Effect Kid shows exactly how far the divide is (it is wide)

    Nor should they!

I like "Lake Effect Kid" just fine, but I think it's easily the weakest of these 3 songs for me.

  15. From one listen, "City in a Garden" is my least favorite, the old demo for "Lake Effect Kid" was better, and "Super Fade" is my Super Fave

LEK has been one of my favorite songs of theirs since they played it at the LA reunion show date that I went to... Very Weird/sick as hell that they chose to rerecord and proper release it.

I'm suuuper interested in the unreleased stuff they're going to show off at the Mania Experience. They've really gone all out for Chicago.

  22. it's CRAZY to me that I'm listening to a new FOB recording that sounds like old FOB... i thought that version of the band was long gone. loving "Lake Effect Kid."
