The song was produced by Butch Walker and Illangelo, who produced on The Weeknd's Trilogy stuff. Good team.

 

Ok we are back on track. I'm 2/3, and this is probably my favorite so far.

 

Genuine question: is the guitar lick at 3:32 (and I think other parts of the song), the same one as the opening of Champions? Or does it just happen to sound similar?

Still can't listen to the first single without of hurting my ears. Champion was very meh. Really like this one though on first listen. I liked almost all of AP/AB bar Centiries and the tile track, so maybe this will be the same.

Also, is it just me, or do Patrick’s vocals sound (artificially) sped up in that chorus?

 

Really like the new song. Much better than the first two they released.

 

Better than champ for sure. I love the verses a lot. Pretty much everything is great in this track I just don't know if I love the chorus.
