I would assume the red is more limited, since you can only get it with the deluxe package, but I also doubt either is going to be overly rare. Too big of a band to do limited pressings. Edit: Just kidding, I didn't realize there was an option to select more colors on the individual LP. I thought it was just red with the bundles, blue on its own.
it functions in a similar way to "my songs" which i also thought was super bizarre when i first heard it. i... miiiight agree that i like it more than either too
I think they stopped holding themselves back on this song, and it shows. Even when they went more of a pop direction, they still tried to keep it within a rock song format. They've thrown that away, and the song is better for it. This is my favorite lead single post-hiatus.
I really do not like the track at all but I'm glad they're going all out and branching into new sounds. Hope there's stuff on the record more to my tastes.
i mean this isn't where i wanted this band to go (i thought "purple" would potentially herald a return of patrick weaving r&b into his songs) but i'm down anyway
But it sounds like pretty much every pop song right now produced by DJ Snake or Chainsmokers. It does nothing different.
I will say I'd be extremely interested in listening to a demo/earlier form of this song if one exists. Even if I don't like this album I respect their approach to making different music and I'll always check for them.
I won't lie, I kind of enjoyed stuff from the previous albums even if they just felt like they'd feature in a sports video game or commercial break on espn haha... but this... I turned it off a minute in... it wasn't good, then it got worse... just garbage.
Aw man.. I love this I like how it starts off like a Folie type song, and then the chorus strikes like a punch in the face. Very excited to hear the rest of the album now
Really don't know what they were thinking with that chorus. Rest of the song sounds exactly like I expected a new FOB song to sound. Cover art is fucking incredible.
I don't even know what that means.. what's the qualifier for "respectable" here? Terrible take for sure! (I really do not like the song, but I personally respect the band for doing whatever the fuck they want)
