"w.a.m.s." is the only song I don't love in the flow and context of the record. There are others I wouldn't single out to put on a mix or anything, but I love them in context.
They sounded better than they ever have at the radio station Christmas show I saw them at, but the setlist was such a HUGE letdown. So much AB/AP stuff and literally no Folie songs but "I Don't Care" and not a single thing from TTTYG. Even in a shortened set, it was a bummer.
But honestly, "Hum Hallelujah" is their best song and I cried my eyes out when I saw them play it on this tour.
TTTYG feels like their Waiting or Static Prevails in that it's good but the band went on to do much better things
if i'm being real real tho FUTCT > FAD > IOH > SRAR > TTTYG > pete screaming into a mic for 3 hours > AB/AP
I'm so sad that the lyrics on TTTYG have made it practically unlistenable to me because I really loved that album. I'd probably consider Folie my favorite.
