From Under The Cork Tree (plus American Idiot) over here. i was 14 i think. 2005 was an Important Year.
I was 12 or 13 in 2008, it set a weird precedent bc CDs were already on their way out but I liked to Support lol.
heh, it's just such an underrated album imo. pretty much a carbon copy of all the bands they were ripping off at the time, but does everything better than the originals.
My jaw just dropped seeing this. It makes me want to go back and find it bc I've heard it but once and it was nigh unlistenable for me but I was like an eighth grader then, so. But I know I'll feel the same for sure.
As the resident FOB fan from back in the day AP.net, I have to say....SRAR is by far way better than AB/AP. But if I had to pick one album out of all of them, it would be Folie a Deux. I don't think Folie will ever be topped. And I'm not even sure FOB has anything left to say at this point.
SRAR was good due to the story line and the videos. And the lyrics of "Just One Yesterday" just floor me. I can't tell you how many times these words have hit home...Hard: "If I spill my guts, the world would never look at you the same way. Now i'm here to give you all of my love, so I can watch your face while I take it all away." when someone who seems like a "good person" does something really shitty that no one would ever expect, this is basically what is playing over and over in my head.
Like the fourth Indiana Jones movie ... EOWYG is better if we pretend it doesn't exist. And the new Batman song is awesome. Patrick's vocal talent is insane.
You could barely hear him, no? I mean yeah what was there was good, but it sounded faded, just background vocals.. it should've said Will Arnett (feat. Patrick Stump) or vice versa if Patrick wrote the music as well
Apparently the song is sung by Lego Batman in the movie, which is why he is singing like he is batman. I couldn't even get through the whole song honestly, really abrasively horrible in my opinion
That's Patrick. he got to lay his vocals down and become Batman’s singing voice in the upcoming @legobatmanmovie.
It might surprise you, but there's no Will, it's all Patrick haha. Will is the speaking voice and Patrick is the singing voice :-o
