Patrick just instantly recalling and singing the original Snitches and Talkers is crazy

Hey! I'm in this. It's so cool Patrick took the opportunity to talk to us and indulge our questions about his old bands and FOB demos. He seems like a kindred spirit in hunting down lost/rare music.

Spoiler, turns out they just couldn't find the Cork Tree demos? Patrick refers to it as "misplaced media". He sings us snippets of the unreleased "We Don't Take Hits, We Write Them" and the original "Snitches and Talkers Get Stiches and Walkers", the latter of which was also teased back in the FUCT days as Myspace Whore by Pete. Thank god they never used that song title.

  3. That was so fascinating to hear. It's rare that artists are this willing to go in depth about unreleased stuff. It's often a taboo especially for acts that have suffered damage from leaks at some point in their career. Makes me feel like the tides changed regarding this over the past decade, or it's just easier to bring that up when it concerns eras that are so far in the past.

Awesome job landing that interview with Patrick! I love that he gets the passion of being a die hard music fan, so it was cool to see him go with the flow and indulge in the interview.

Initially I thought the band just didn’t want to unearth those FUCTS demos. Didn’t expect their omission came down to being unable to locate them, lol. Also, during that segment, it was rad to hear him still advocating for the original “Snitches” and “We Don’t Take Hits.”

I feel like this interview could've only happened in this current era of FOB in addition to what you said. Also, I think it helps we were only asking about prehiatus stuff in regard to demos!

Yeah it's actually really funny but surprising they didn't manage to find a CD or something in their storage. In comparison, regarding the TTTYG demos, "Colorado Song" and "Jakus", Sean O'Keefe mentioned to us how they had legal issues trying to clear those. I'm forgetting what exactly, but something to do with labels and rights.

Maybe the rest of the band will finally let Patrick put "Snitches" and "We Don't Take Hits" on a future album though
