Yep I can't wait to finally own From Under The Cork Tree. I already own Infinity On High, but curious to see what color scheme they go with.
I think it's really cool that this band has been able to come back and become such a staple in current pop music. While SR&R doesn't hold up for me too well and I never really dug into AB/AP I am stoked that they have been so successful. I love that their singles get played at every sports event. That has to be a nice feeling.
Not based on a ton, but I think there will be some down time when the record cycle concludes. I don't think it will be a huge break, but I don't think it will be as quick of a turnaround as the last one was.
just want to clarify that I didn't mean the "bi-monthly" that means twice a month, I meant the "bi-monthly" that's every other month.
nah because the number of weeks in a month aren't even always so it would end up being not exactly twice a month sometimes you see?
this is the dumbest question ever but do fall out boy and taking back sunday have beef with each other? this is based on absolutely nothing
came for FOB posts, stayed for BoJack Horseman references. would anyone else buy the hell out of some Fall Out Koi merch? i admittedly haven't been a huge fan of their recent shirt designs.
Supposedly? Yes. "Spin" is about FOB apparently. The last track on TTTYG, The Patron Saint Of Liars and Fakes, steals the same chorus melody from Cute Without The E. At the end of Spin you can faintly hear Fred singing "Spin, sugar, spin" and just the general attitude of the song definitely feels like its criticizing FOB
so their show at Reading&Leeds was pretty fucking awesome. epic renditions of "Disloyal Order" and "Save Rock and Roll" back to back with a Bowie homage to boot. glad they're shaking up the setlist a bit.
