To be fair, I’ve been wrong before, but a source is telling me 1/31 for tour announcement.

 

They did at least take some notes from the FOB reunion. Blink really should have finished their album before announcing the reunion tho.

 

I think Blink's doing just fine with a massive single and sold out giant tour.

 

Absolutely hilarious anyone thinks blink isn't at their absolute best right now, they don't need advice from music forum posters haha

 

i still remember their first show back at subt i was so pumped to her some folie songs and they did like a medley of the singles and that was it :(

Going back through it all I think Folie is pretty easily the best (never ever thought I’d say this) - but I def feel as though most, if not all of the records are incredibly top heavy.

 

AB/AP is the one that isn't so top heavy, IMO. Its best songs are in the middle.

-Infinity is incredible.

-Folie..... just doesn't do it for me. Never has never will. I think its a collection of B/C/D tier FoB songs. I don't dislike it. But it just doesn't have "it". Wikipedia says it was less layered than Infinity and more simple on the recording process..... and I think that's one reason.... I love the punch of the layers of IoH. However, I want to spin Folie again.

Oddly enough there is a distinct trend - I find 2 songs less I really love/enjoy on each subsequent release - 8 on Folie, 6 on Save and 4 on AP. Still not fully sure I even like 2 off Mania, though.

 

I still think FAD fails as an album since it falls apart in the back half. But there are great songs on it. For me it’s something like this…

I think that makes it clear why the album ranks low for me, despite loving 3 songs a lot.

 

This is like me with Cork Tree, except it's clear I'm in the right. ;)

 

Oh I think the first 8 tracks might be their best stretch across everything. Headfirst into golf into coffee is awesome.

 

Crazy how we differ on Tiffany. Verses are a smidge weak, but the chorus is huge and I love that part.

Winona, Coffee, 27, Gold Standard, West Coast, wams, 20 $........... I can't even remember what a single part of those songs sound like. And I listened to the album intently yesterday.
