I don’t actively dislike any of them. Hoping the new one slots in the upper category somewhere

For me Folie is tops, just a 100%/A+ album, and TTTYG is on the bottom (a couple great songs, still enjoy it for the nostalgia, but not something I would love on the whole if it were just released today) and everything else kind of floats around in between. Sometimes I'm more partial to FUTCT/IOH and sometimes I'm more into the post-hiatus stuff, but they each have their hits and misses.

I don't think their debut's aged well and they immediately started doing more interesting stuff on Cork Tree.

Swap SRAR with Cork Tree and AB/AP with Mania, and this is where I’m at as well

    I’d probably go something like

    FUTCT
    Folie
    IOH
    TTTYG
    Mania
    SRAR
    ABAP

I don’t dislike the post hiatus stuff at all, just more nostalgia attached to the others.

I do like big chunks of AB/AP, but between the mix and my vote for least favorite FOB song (Immortals, it makes me nauseous), I just think it was a bit of a swing and miss. I was more positive on it at the time but with age it hasn't kept up with me.

Really, I love the top 5 and like the bottom 2. I ranked TTTYG above SRAR due to nostalgia, but older me probably enjoys SRAR a little more.

Crazy to see TTTYG so low on many of your lists.

Whenever I play any track off that album I just get a rush of nostalgia. Lyrics don't hold up since I'm not an angsty teen anymore but it's still a great album.

I’m certain if I listened to this band for the first time today, TTYG would fall somewhere in the bottom half of my rankings, but that album made such an immense impact on me in 2003 that it really doesn’t matter to me how it’s aged. I’m blind to that because of the rush of joy putting it on brings me. That record was so transformative for me, and I have so much nostalgia wrapped up in it. Pretty easily one of my top 10-15 albums of all time.

Folie is honestly the only album of theirs I’ve loved, but I like it so much that I still get excited when I hear they’re releasing new music.

yeah its basically how I feel about Tell All Your Friends. era defining album for me, age defining album for me, probably influenced me in more ways than i'll ever realize, but, certainly at the bottom tier of rankings now with this large of a discography. TTTYG also has some lyrical content that now makes me make the jim halpert yikes face.

Which album from their current discography is this new song the most closely aligned with? Anything similar to this on their last 3 albums?

I had no idea how many people disliked AB/AP. It's my second favorite after IOH.
