Just listened through for the first time on my way home from work. My first impression is that this is just a really fun album. Loving the vibes I'm getting. Can't wait to listen again

After getting over initial disappointment on first listen (due to nothing from the record really being in the same vein of Love from the Other Side), I can definitely agree that this is their best record in the last decade.

However, I don’t think the bar is that high lol

Anyways my favorites (aside from Love and Heartbreak) are Flu Game, Fake Out, Muse, Kintsugi Kid, and the title track which is a very good closer.

I weirdly love baby annihilation. Takes me back to listening to FUCT and Folie a deux for the first time and feeling so in love with music

Do people not like it? Perfect interlude, classic Pete, what's not to love

I’m around 4-5 listens in and the albums gotten better with each one. Changing some plans around to ensure I can make a date or two of their summer tour.

Walked into my local record store when they opened and they were kind enough to dig through some new release boxes to find a copy for me.

After numerous listens, So Good Right Now is the only song I don't care much for. On the other hand, I can't stop thinking about the title track. I'll be pissed if they don't play it on tour lol

Record is growing on me but I really wish So Good Right Now was left off. Feels like I’m listening to Target music lol

This is really good! So much better than I anticipated when I heard there was going to be a new Fall Out Boy album.

    Things have changed.

"So Good Right Now" is a dud, but everything else is good to great.

Ok. I have now listened to this album 13 times today.

I’ve never fell this hard or this fast for an entire FOB album. Not even 10 years ago.

My number one song is The Kinsugi Kid.
Hands down. That’s my final answer.

Also, thank you all for getting me hyped about this album the last couple days.

At first listen it’s their best since the reunion. I love the first five a ton. Don’t necessarily love the interludes but each song following one are some of my favorites.

Most of all, it sounds like it would kill live. Would love to see it in a 1975-esque “at their very best” arrangement where it’s half this and half deep cuts.

We reach for the longest shadow

I like this a lot but I do feel like the choruses get repeated a few too many times. Perfect pocket is 3-5, and feels like we get some of these 7-10 times, sometimes 3-4 time all in a row.

words popping up in my mind right now after one listen: queen, glam, the 70's, that one riff that sounded like franz ferdinand, a bonfire with friends, hugging a friend, piano
