there's something about patrick singing in demos that you don't hear on the records. i love the demos more than the finished record (same with a fever you can't sweat out) but unfortunately i've watched the live videos of we don't take hits and myspace whore so many times that it's not really as special as it should be although i love those songs.

 

I'm confused.....the torrent gave me 16 songs but I see comments on reddit saying there's 25?

 

Is this the same torrent I mentioned before? How did you get it to work?

 

I actually found it on nicotine but it lined up with a torrent mentioned on reddit

 

Gonna need to hear all of these compiled songs once the dust settles.

 

I've been listening to this album and don't understand why Heartbreak Feels So Good is so overlooked - one of the catchiest choruses in years. I looked at their setlists and they've only played it 2/3 times which is weird as I'm sure it was one of the single / music videos ahead of the album being released

 

As we're all digging into these FUCT demos, I would encourage anyone who hasn't listened to the Song Explorer for Sugar We're Going Down to give it a listen. Patrick shares some even earlier demos of the song that bear little resemblance to the final product

Heartbreak is prob top 3 on that album for me. And I'd only put the album behind IOH

 

i really wish i still owned tony hawk's american wasteland so i could listen to these demos and the fever you can't sweat out demos. i used to listen to the live fall out boy demo videos / AFYCSO while i played so it would be cool to do 20 years later.

 

It's a decent song, but the chorus has always felt disjointed/incomplete to me, both musically and lyrically.

 

Watching Landman S02E06 and in the background was a marquee of a band playing that night called "Ya'll Out Boy" - I laughed.

 

So is something supposed to happen today or what

Surprised in this day and age that people receiving these CD's aren't gatekeeping or putting on eBay for $XXXX

 

Looks like the person might be legit but they've been at work all day lol, they promise to upload once they get home

So I guess either you believe that this is it, and it was just fans all along, or you believe this 11th disc and contents are all fake, and the originals were maybe from the band etc

 

by now, i'm of the belief that the whole thing was fan-created. still impressive to get rare demos for "we don't take hits," "get me to a hospital," etc.
