Stardust was a good return to form but everything pre reunion is far better, particularly Folie.

 

I might be in the minority, but I really feel like pre and post reunion have pretty similar levels of quality overall. Like, it's all pretty good stuff lol.

 

I also agree. Pretty sure Jason Tate has also said he feels this way.

I remember listening to “Mania” and just feeling bummed out by its sound and production and basically thought the band was dead to me. But “Stardust” totally won me back.

 

I also used to have this shirt that came with preorders of “Folie” and didn’t know EOWYG was so hated by them that they referred to it as “The First Demo.”

 

It's funny that they put Folie as an option for a shirt that came with preorders of Folie, perhaps future proofing for their terrible fanbase.

 

Still have that shirt in the attic. Never marked it though.

 

I like Mania but Stardust is what I wanted it to be. I don’t revisit it much now

 

Kinda wild that they have as many post-hiatus records as pre-hiatus.

I know nothing about Son Lux and I don't blame someone for being protective of their work, but gotta be honest, this guy sounds like a pretentious piece of shit.

 

I remember hearing about 15 seconds of it and cringing too hard to listen to the rest. And I was so excited to see a Fall Out Boy song released during Covid time. I tortured myself once or twice. Knowing it's a cover and its intent, it's definitely their worst song. They have things that sound worse sonically on Evening but honestly I'd rather listen to any song but that one, even Centuries lol.

Pretty wild that their live album will have Get Busy Living on it. From never playing it to being immortalized on vinyl. Love that. Always loved that song.

the RJDZ remix of Dance Dance is one of the worst remixes of any song I have ever heard.
