Stardust is the only one l like post-reunion. It’s still held up pretty well too which is more than I can say about SRAR. I used to like half of that record but I gave it a listen earlier today and it’s aged so poorly IMO.

The only songs I like off AB/AP are Jet Pack Blues, Novocaine, Favorite Record, and Twin Skeletons. Gave those a listen after SRAR and they still hit.

I’ve hated Mania since day one and still do so nothing new for me there lol.

nearly three years since i last did this unless i did it in a different thread, so let's see how i feel

also havent listened to any FOB lately but i feel a discography listen happening for me soon

    IOH
    Folie
    Stardust
    FUCT
    AB/AP
    MANIA
    SRAR
    TTTYG

i've spent the most time with IOH over the last 18 months or so, which doesn't necessarily ipso facto make it my fav but i think it probably is anyway. the variance to me is a testament to the strength of their discography rather than my own personal whims

Off the top of my head:

    Infinity
    SRAR
    SMFS
    Folie
    Mania
    Cork
    AB/AP

I don't understand how anyone hasn't brought up "Young and Menace" yet as one of their worst songs. That drop/chorus is one of the most ear-bleeding things I ever heard and I still remember where I was the first time I ever heard it (putting toilet paper in the bathroom cupboard). Rest of the songs on that album are alright though.
EDIT: I went back a few pages and saw the discussion on the song. I don't understand how anyone can like it, I think it sounds horrible. Also Evening Out is not a bad album/EP/whatever it is.

Your mileage may vary. I'm also not an EDM person so that's probably also why I don't like it. How does one even sing it?
Looking at the Jimmy Fallon performance of the song right now and I'm actually enjoying it. Maybe because Patrick is singing the chorus with his actual voice and the weird pitched voice are just overlayed which I don't mind.

Fair enough. They should put it back on their setlists.

The one song I do listen to on repeat from Mania is "Wilson". So damn catchy.

I saw FOB in Minneapolis in 2024 and they played like 6 Magic 8 balls, and I got "Honorable Mention", "The Kids Aren't Alright" and "Wilson", and that was the only Mania song played. Got a representative from every album in their discography, it was so cool.

    Not newbie, I think

Seeing TTTYG on any bottom list is infuriating. Personally. But I'll get over it. Always number one for me, was already a scene kid before it but it blew the genre and my enjoyment of music to another level.

Young & Menace doesn't have any business being on a Fall Out Boy album but also I like it. I think it's unique and one of the better parts of Mania.

  18. DeathOrGlory

    Just a friendly reminder

Anyone who thinks "Young and Menace" is the worst Fall Out Boy song first of all, does not know ball and secondly, has not heard "Super Fade". There is no value to be found in "Super Fade".

I also found the couple of people in the world who enjoy "Bob Dylan". Must have a weird disease that makes it so you can't hear lyrics of songs.

  19. I find it kinda funny when the Ryan Adam’s produced EP gets overlooked for having the worst songs cause no one listens to it because … well it has the worst songs outside of EOWYG.

People have such visceral and sometimes outright hostile opinions about songs. It is hilarious.

Yeah those songs are rough. People forget it cuz it was an EP I imagine. If it were labeled a full length, oh yeah it’d get more notably trashed.

It's the EP version of Green Day's FOAM and you're absolutely right

I used to hear this song several times a day at work and it drove me crazy. Thank god they took it off rotation after like half a year. It was the only Fall Out Boy song they ever played too
