Fall Out Boy - So Much (For) Stardust (March 24,2023) Band • Page 15

Discussion in 'Music Forum' started by iCarly Rae Jepsen, Jan 18, 2023.

  1. On a side note, it was also interesting to read how he felt about the nostalgia for 00s emo and the place Fall Out Boy had in it. It echoes similar thoughts Hayley had about the same topic in yesterday's Paramore interview for Billboard.

I've had such a nostalgic feeling all week. For whatever reason it reminds me of the anticipation I had for Infinity. I feel like I'm 14 again watching the music video over and over. If only Hasting's was still open I'd beg my mom to drive me there on release day to pick it up

13 songs on the album. Gotta coincide somehow, I would think?

we’re all in agreement that the “just about snapped, don’t look back” is the best line in a chorus they’ve ever written right

I settled on Thriller, but went back and forth between that and Hum for a while. Both songs are so damn good

While we're on the lyrics/line delivery topic, it's "what would you trade the pain for? I'm not sure" for me. Just burrows itself into my brain

  22. Thinking so much about FOB has me desperately wishing they make proper vinyl masters for FUCT and IOH, it clearly sounds like CD masters on the vinyl and they are the worst pressings I own by far. Super distorted and compressed, to the point where people who barely listen to music ask me what's wrong with the record when I put those two on.

I always felt like a very weird FOB fan... My favorite songs are "Tell That Mick..", "Patron Saint..." the IOH singles, then ALL of Infinity on High, most of Folie, and then none of anything after that except "Young Volcanoes."

So with the note in that box with another song title and the date January 25th is it safe to assume we've got another song coming next week?
