Flu Game’s chorus is so much fun. it reminds me of the middle section of IoH, like that portion after thnks. I am completely mesmerized by the quick guitar strums in the second verse. and the bridge. ughhhh. also the outro is great. love the decision even if its just a simple beat leading into the interlude. the transitions are my favorite part of folie so i adore that theyre doing stuff like this again

The only bad songs on mania are champion and young and menace. Hold me tight or don’t and Wilson are top tier fall out boy tracks

 

The Pink Seashell is the best track on the album. I feel pretty confident saying that.

 

Have we talked about how the box set with the t-shirt is underwhelming?


Pretty sure it shrunk before it was printed on. The box is literally just that. Was hoping they'd throw in some stickers or something else. But nope just the record and ill-fitting t-shirt.

not to be caught dead making a sincere post on the internet but since this album dropped ive gone down a deep rabbit hole of fall out boy content, new interviews, old music videos, new music videos, old interviews, the hits, the deep cuts, and of course this new album a good couple dozen times already and the only other band ive been listening to for this long that's still around and still hits the emotional highs for me that they did when i was still just a little kid is jimmy eat world and idk man im so happy to have grown up with their music and that their new music still becomes something of an obsession, i seriously cannot stop listening to the new album. they're just that band for me, and somehow pete's writing has only gotten more relevant to me as ive gotten older and realized some of the shit he was writing about for real since most of it just went right over my head as a kid and just got boiled down to the one liners. but those one liners mean something, like today im driving over to my parents house after work and "fix me in 45" suddenly becomes one of the most gut wrenching things ive ever heard, like i havent already heard it a million times before. THAT'S what makes pete's writing so special.
