don't think any of them are "clunkers" there is just a momentum that makes the first halves of each record just demand the next song to start playing in my brain that the back halves don't have.

W.a.m.s. is great, Afterlife of the party, Tiffany Blews, Don't You Know Who I Think I Am, all classic FOB that I would never want to loose.

I posted this in the Bad Opinions thread, but I'm taking my hot take on the road: Cork Tree's midsection is, for me, extremely middling generic emo. The top and bottom halves are great and definitely early signs of where they'd take future albums, but the midsection feels very lacking to me.

 

I just listened to both IOH and Folie for the first time ever. Absolutely loved IOH, but barely got through Folie.
