Yeah, I don't know much about gear but I would love to spend hours picking apart a person like Pat/Andy/Joe/Pete about their gear and techniques and etc. I love it
Growing up everyone had a crush on Pete but I was always a Patrick girl from the beginning. That video of him singing just confirmed that for me lol. I feel like he could talk music for hours and I wouldn't understand any of it but he'd still make it fascinating.
my crushes were always patrick and andy. especially in high school when i got into playing drums and realized how ridiculously talented andy is
I'm such an embarrassing cliche with musicians. I won't crush on someone solely cause they're a musician but if I already have a crush and they're also a musician my interest like quadruple skyrockets haha.
yeah i find musical talent attractive haha, or maybe i want to because i play music and want to be seen as attractive or "cool" for it because im lame af hahaha
Haha but it is an attractive trait. I think ur cool for it! think I admire the commitment and persistence it takes to rly learn any talent. I have no persistence so I admire the trait in others. I am taking guitar lessons tho and just went to the music store to pick up some things and feel very ~musiciany today. Still waiting for my flock of admirers tho!!
Once I think I read that when one of the band members met Patrick he was wearing socks and sandals and that has always been very amusing and upsetting to me. He's come a long way!! And nobody better @ me about ur socks and sandals wearing. Not on my watch.
ahh thats awesome good luck with guitar lessons! i took lessons for almost three years from ages 10-13 and it was the backbone of all my music-ness haha. just stick with it for the first year and it'll pay off
i've been thinking about getting one for years. if they put out a purple finish one like the one he's been playing i think that'll put me over the edge.
Fall Out Boy was definitely an integral part of me starting a rock band in junior high and my continued interest in music.
