I cannot get Wilson out of my head today.

 

Listened to this three times tonight. Not for me at all.

 

Stay Frosty, Church, and Wilson are my 3 faves right now. But I gotta let the newness wear off before I set it all in stone.

 

I'm not loving Stay Frosty yet, and Champions is not good, but everything else ranges from really good to astoundingly good

 

dunno if this has been posted but p decent interview about the album

cool tidbit is that Patrick recorded his own vocals on his own -- probably attributes to the more raw production quality to his vox on this album

 

After hearing it in context I’m completely sold on Champions and I never thought I’d say that before I listened to the album in full

I enjoy the song more in the context of the body of songs, but I take issue with the placement. Y+M, however, is actually totally dope where it is, and I didn't expect that.

 

Oh I totally love its placement...hearing those guitar lines after the piano flutter is a perfect recentering of the album and brings it firmly back into a FOB album

 

Maybe I'll feel better about it come Friday and I spin that wax
