I mean, I don't think Wilson would be their go-to replacement for Saturday, but I'm 100% on board with them finally switching that out with something else.
No, but its place as the last song is a decade-plus tradition that dates back to their early days. As their setlist has changed and TTTYG songs have dropped, they've specifically left "Saturday" in, in the same spot, for the die-hard fans. I think it's a nice tradition. My reference to "hit" is understanding that some bands like Panic! close with new songs ("Victorious," which is their second-highest charting single), but they're usually commercially successful new songs.
If they removed Saturday, you'd have more people whining about how they barely play anything off TTTYG.
I’ve learned not to judge FOB songs based off previews after listening to SRAR previews and not being blown away, but ended up loving that album. However, I have to say, I think I’ve already heard my favorites from this record.
Two absolute duds for me in the beginning. Have loved everything I’ve heard since. I went from not caring about this record to wanting it to drop asap.
Listening to Young and Menace for the first time in a couple months and I still love it, I feel like FOB always makes at least one song per album that’s really weird and out there/ pushes the boundaries, but at the same time really cool imo. I felt the same way for AB/AP (song) and This Ain’t A Scene.. honestly, I may be in the minority here (if not the only one), but I’d be down for an album with experimental songs along the lines of those mentioned above
I still remember hearing it for the first time and being blown away lol. I must’ve listened to it at least 4 times in a row.
I'm betting I like everything on the album, I even like young and a menace and champion now. It's fuckin fall out boy season baby and my fanboyism is back in full force
I got into this band when I was like 11 and grand theft autumn was on fuse tv. What a journey it's been
Uhh so Pete says the track order is wrong. I guess they changed it after they submitted it because the order posted everywhere is how they announced it online.
The initial question he was replying to was weird. Who doesn’t listen to an album in order for their first listen?
