These songs are 5/5 for me. This is easily going to be the best post-hiatus record, assuming the other five aren’t, like, secretly terrible.

 

Dude so I totally thought you were randomly quoting Moonrise Kingdom the Wes Anderson film on the FOB thread and then i heard Wilson and I was like oh... i feel dumb now lmao. Coincidence or are they quoting Bill Murray’s line

 

Not really into Wilson unfortunately.

 

I assume it’s an intentional reference, “I’ll stop wearing black when they invent a darker colour” is also an ‘Adams Family’ ref. ‘Bishops Knife Trick’ must be a reference to ‘Aliens’ as well.

 

Wtf this is so good remember when we were all worried about this album (or at least I was). I'm just so glad they took the extra time to release this because what we're getting is blowing my mind

I hope so too everyone else seems to love it. I wasn't into the live version either but I was hoping the studio version would work more for me but I think I like it even less. Just kind of plods along for me.

LOVE the video, really dig this song as well. Getting amped on this album more than I expected to. Really glad they took time aside to finish it off, it seems to have paid off.
